I read a 13 pages book that immediately changed how I see life in the aspect of being healthy till old age. I know it might sound too early for me to worry about my old age but if there is one thing I've learned and one thing many fail to realize is that, our old age is a product of our young age. That thought led me to ask myself this question.
What actions are you taking in your young age that will help you age better and even more free?
It would be weird to say the book covered everything about life, because it's just 13 pages, but what I would confidently say is that the book really inspired me to do better with my life if I really want to live past 100 years and still count upwards without struggling or falling sick often.
A lot of people associate old age with sicknesses, back aches, weak joints, impaired movements, no job or work, grumpy or ugly. While there may be oldies like that, we must know that some were either just unlucky with life's uncertainties or they made wrong choices with their body when they were much younger.
Of course, we have the oldies who you'd admire so much that you won't feel scared or worried that you'll be an oldie like them one day. It is one of the reasons I'm inspired to write this post, I think I'm excited about growing to old age now more than I ever really bothered to think to be.
After reading the book, it felt like I found myself in a small community where they are people who live for over 100 years but they still move around, do their gardening, laugh and talk with friends like they've only just started living. They don't eat what the factory creates, those are bad for them.
They prioritize natural remedies to prevent health issues, they move more and even sit on the floor to get up regularly that don't need the gym to stay strong and fit. The writer added that she visits her garden every morning as part of morning exercise, made me realized again the importance of having hobbies that you'd need at your old age.
The writer also shared some good hacks concerning hair growth, eating healthy and the most important part that left me thinking really hard on my life is, never being alone. She stresses on how much importance her community people places on building relationships with their people to not feel alone.

After reading the book, I've realized a few things I need to work on to have a healthier old age but I'm looking forward to learning more from the oldies here on Hive, it's why I'm sharing it here. I'm going to grow to old age and I need to prepare for a beautiful old age. Share some advice here even if I may seem too early to worry about it lol.

The advice about not being alone is vital. Human relationships and a sense of community are just as important for health as good nutrition.
Yeah, it's one of the most overlooked part of my life that I got called out on from the book. Thanks for stopping by.
