Hello everyone! This is Nicole once again, and it's good to be back after a week of being away. Welcome to @HiveOpenMic Week 263 for the theme "Ray Of Light." I choose to sing Let's Make A Memory (By Rex Smith) in the hopes of resonating with the theme.
Figuratively speaking, when we say 'ray of light,' it simply means hopeful or a glimpse of hope. While we know whom to anchor our faith (The Almighty), being hopeful in the land of the living is a gift we could give to each other. Let us inspire the ones we could reach out to. I could be hopeful of you, and you can be hopeful of me. And together, we stand hopeful for each other. Human as we are, it may not be guaranteed how long our hopes for each other could last. But while we do so, let us continue to make good memories for each other to cherish so that in time our hopes may fade, we have something to look back and perhaps turn the memories as subject of rekindling our hopes again, for each other. When an opportunity knocks for you to become a ray of light to someone else's life, may you take the chance responding to the call. It's a chance so rare in this brief lifetime. To impact another life is a blessing. And as you go on, continue to build memories as I do to you all.
