Cryptobrewmaster - Giving In To Pay2Play, At Least Trying to

Cryptobrewmaster

My last Cryptobrewmaster was in February, almost a year ago. I didn't play the game at all since then.

Yet, out of the general after-holiday-season boredom I guess, I decided to give in to the Pay2Play scheme and bought 1,000 $ASH to be able to function in the game.

It wasn't much, less than 5 $HIVE. I bought it on LeoDex.

And now I am stuck. There is no option to transfer it into the game from Hive-Engine.

Is it really the only way to buy it on Cryptex24?

I don't want to go this way. It's too complicated!

There should be a simple way of a direct transfer from Hive-Engine!

If I am wrong and don't realize that this option already exists, please correct me and show me the way. Thank you!

I found this post by @cryptobrewmaster about a possible way which apparently no longer functions. This is really lame!

Yikes. If there's really no direct deposit from Hive Engine that's a big L. At least you only put 5 Hive in.

It looks like I need to deposit something to Cryptex and then buy $ASH there.

Also, there is no HIVE/ASH trading pair on the exchange. Another bummer.

@rollie1212, why is it so?

0E-8 BEE

from now you can buy ASH in-game via starter pack
we stopped supporting any of the Hive Engine tokens

I'm fighting the same struggle with this game. Not to mention that I'm receiving some airdrops at the moment because I staked some ASH on Aeneas blog earlier. But, I can't redeem those airdrops there.
I even made a post about it, asking for help, but only got the answer how they are not connected with the Hive-Engine anymore. I still don't see the connection between the two (redeeming the reward on their blogging platform and disconnection with Hive-Engine)!?!

Seems like, they don't care much about players, old or new, and they must be satisfied with the current amount of players, as well as the amount of money they still making with those few that managed to adapt or whatsoever.

I got the same impression. They ran away from the Hive-Engine solely because they have an interest in Cryptex24 - my opinion.

Thus they abandoned old players. I can't use $ASH and $CBM, can't sell cards, ... Nothing. I asked in discord - nothing again.

@cryptobrewmaster - what do you say?

I didn't even try to ask about it on Discord, or at least not yet.
When I asked some things earlier, I've always got the answer that sounded to me like it was my fault that I missed this or that change in the game.
Frankly speaking, I don't want to play a game I would have to be constantly glued with, and even if it's way more excited than this one is.

It's your opinion, but we officially did an announcement about the reasons...

You can use ASH, and CBM without any KYC via C24 exchange. I don't see any problem here

0E-8 BEE

We did a public announcement, 6 weeks before the ASH swap that we quit support of the Hive Engine. Power down = 4 weeks. I can't see any problems in that case.

Is that our fault, you didn't swap in time?

The blogging platform was issued as a tribe on the Hive Engine platform, we canceled supporting Hive engine and Blog platform at the same time!

0E-8 BEE

I was really lucky to see the announcement that game is migrating away from hive-engine and was able to sell off all CBM and ASH

0E-8 BEE

Good for you.

In the meantime, there is no answer from the team. They are much more invested in future projects than in keeping old players, I assume.
