Flamengo concludes a fantastic season.

Last Wednesday, the Flamengo season ended. I think even the most passionate fan of the club couldn't have imagined how perfect 2025 would be. Of course, the team will always fight for titles, but what happened was something impressive. Winning every possible title isn't for just anyone, and in my view, I'm very proud.
I remember the Club World Cup very well, and it was a dream come true for me. For Gianni Infantino, this type of competition was something he had longed for for years. Being able to watch random matches like Botafogo vs. PSG, Flamengo vs. Chelsea, and Ulsan vs. Mamelodi was an experience we only had in video games, and seeing those matches live was undoubtedly unforgettable.
We still don't have a decision on who will be the current champion of the Copa do Brasil this year, so technically Flamengo is still the holder, as they were the winners last year, which was coach Filipe Luis's first professional title. Speaking of which, it's encouraging how much FL can evolve as a coach, as he's only been a coach for a little over a year and already has 5 titles, and I'm not even including the ones he won with the team in the Intercontinental Cup.
Speaking of the Intercontinental Cup, it would have been the icing on the cake if Flamengo had beaten PSG, but since the match ended 1-1, the decision went to penalties and Flamengo was defeated by the French team. Since the "world title" didn't materialize, this in no way erases the incredible campaign of the red-and-black team in 2025.
If we stop to think about it, especially with this new competition model, Flamengo had to play two more matches to face PSG and came out on top in both. But I don't think that would be fair, regardless of which team the opponent would be against the European team. Perhaps FIFA could remodel this format in the future.
Well, as I said before, the season is over and Flamengo deserves congratulations for the excellent campaign this year. If in 2019 we only lost 1-0 and this year we won on penalties, I believe rival fans will need to worry more, because Flamengo is getting closer and closer to its second world title. The question remains when this will happen, and honestly, seeing the growth in both technical and physical aspects, I think it won't take long. I'm looking forward to 2026...

Nesta última quarta, se encerrou a temporada do Flamengo. Acho que até o torcedor mais apaixonado pelo clube não imaginaria o quão perfeito seria o ano de 2025. É lógico que o time sempre irá brigar pelos títulos, mas o que aconteceu foi algo impressionante. Poder conquistar todos os títulos possíveis não é para qualquer um e na minha visão estou muito orgulhoso.
Lembro muito bem da Copa do Mundo de Clubes e foi para mim uma realização de um sonho, pois se para Gianni Infantino era algo que ele almejava há anos esse tipo de competição, poder ver jogos aleatórios de Botafogo x PSG, Flamengo x Chelsea e Ulsan x Mamelodi, foi uma experiência que só nos videogames tínhamos e poder ver essas partidas ao vivo foi sem dúvidas inesquecível.
Ainda não temos a decisão de quem irá ser o atual campeão da Copa do Brasil neste ano, então tecnicamente o Flamengo ainda é o detentor, pois foi o vencedor no ano passado sendo o primeiro título profissional do técnico Filipe Luis. Por falar nisso, é animador o quanto que FL poderá evoluir como treinador, pois ele só tem um pouco mais de um ano como técnico e já possui 5 títulos e nem estou colocando os que ele conquistou com o time no Intercontinental.
Por falar em Intercontinental, seria realmente a cereja do bolo se o Flamengo tivesse vencido o PSG, mas como a partida terminou em 1-1, a decisão foi para os pênaltis e o flamengo foi superado pelo time francês. Como o “mundial” não veio, isso não apaga de jeito nenhum a incrível campanha do time rubro-negro em 2025.
Se pararmos para pensar, principalmente neste novo modelo de competição, o Flamengo para poder encarar o PSG, teve que fazer ainda duas partidas e se saiu melhor nas duas. Mas não acho que isso seria algo justo, independente de qual time seria o adversário contra o time europeu. Talvez quem sabe a FIFA possa remodelar esse formato no futuro.
Bem, como eu disse antes, a temporada acabou e o Flamengo estar de parabéns pela excelente campanha neste ano e se em 2019 perdemos apenas por 1-0 e neste ano levamos a disputa pelos pênaltis, eu acredito que os torcedores rivais irão precisar se preocupar mais, pois o Flamengo cada vez mais estar se aproximando do seu segundo titulo mundial. A questão que fica é saber quando isso irá acontecer e sendo sincero, vendo o crescimento tanto na parte técnica e física, acho que não irá demorar tanto para acontecer. Estou ansioso pelo 2026...
