As the kittens ruined the first playpen we bought before we started fostering, we needed to buy a new one to make sure we could lock them up during the nights, if needed. This is not only to protect our furniture but also to keep them safe while we can't pay attention. We decided to go back to the same store, but this time to another city as we just didn't fancy the drive to the one that was closer to us.
After we saw the whole store and bought the playpen, we were ready for a drink as it was a hot day. I saw a cafe or bar (I wasn't sure) right next to the store, and it seemed to be the only one nearby as we were a bit disconnected from most things because the store was located in an industrial area.
I assumed it was mostly the terrace area and just a tiny bar inside, but the terrace didn't have any free tables with shade so we were not keen on sitting in the direct sun. Instead, I opened the door inside and was pleasantly surprised by what I found: a very cool bar with a lot of ambiance.
Looks nice, right? We saw it was filled with locals and it smelled delicious inside. Grill and steak, count us in!
We were lucky to find a table to sit at and were treated by the lady of the house. We ordered our drinks and checked out the menu.
We didn't need much time to decide here, as soon as we saw they had grilled Argentinian steak we said, that's ours! I expected that to be expensive but it was something around 2,50 for each tapa. Usually, we are a bit disappointed when we have a tapa with meat, let alone a steak one. This time we were very pleasantly surprised though. Check out our tapas:
The grill taste was amazing! We were enjoying every little bite, so good! It's been a while since we had a good piece of meat like this.
Our daughter didn't feel bold, she had chicken nuggets. Thankfully these were a bit better than the usual fabric nuggets, lol.
A few extra fries, thankfully fried well.
So far so good! We weren't ready to leave though, we ordered another round as the steak was so good.
That little grill mark does the trick, doesn't it? They didn't disappoint us at all and we sat there for 2 hours maybe as it was nice and cool and the locals chatting in there made us feel at home. The good food, some good music on the radio, and friendly hosts made this by far the best tapa round this year!
Before we drove back home, we visited the toilet because we had a 30-minute drive ahead or so. When opening the door to the toilet, we were pleasantly surprised by the cool stickers on the walls:
Can you recognize them all? Mona Lisa, Rihanna, Uma Thurman in Kill Bill, and Amy Winehouse are clear, but who else do you see? Did you spot Beyonce and Frida Kahlo?
We don't come to the city often but I'm quite sure if we need to go to this particular store again, we will make sure to visit this place again. Not only was it open all day, which is a plus, it was such a good visit we want to check it every visit is this great. Sometimes you just get lucky, but as it was filled with locals we think they are a good tapa place in general.
Ok.. now that's one of the most beautiful toilets I've ever seen! lol
It was a fun one for sure, but I've seen prettier. I think this one is very creative though, never seen anything similar myself.
Neither I! The best I've seen so far was one made full of graffiti and street art, the sinks being actually some rusty buckets. But I really like the one from your post!

The pictures turned out great, although I must admit, I absolutely loved the interior design of the place.
Cheers!
Thank you!
You're welcome! π€
What a wonderful place, the decor is incredible and the food is good.... I am Argentinian,... what can I say, as far as meat is concerned it is the best... but of course everyone has their own tastes.
I loved the publication @thisismylife π
Oh I forgot that you are Argentinian, you know very well how a good steak has to be then lol. I think every time I ate Argentinian steak somewhere, it was delicious. Thanks for stopping by!
It really is delicious and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Hugs!π
Wow! I'm salivating here. I've only been to an Argentinian restaurant in the Netherlands, and I remember the food was divine.
Great images here, and I could almost smell and taste everything.
Gosh, I really need a steak right now!!!
It was truly so good, we almost considered ordering a plate but you know, sometimes the meat served is very nice in smaller chunks but disappointing if you order a full plate. We decided to just order a few more tapas instead.
It didn't need any sauce, it was perfect as is. Now I look at the pictures I swear I feel like driving there soon and have another round haha. There's something about grilled food, I love it!
The steak itself was good too, so that helps.
Thank you for stopping by @millycf1976. I checked the prompts this week, but I didn't have anything to write. Hopefully, you see me back next week!
Have a great day!
