What do you see?
I see a date number which reads zero and one and the month of April underneath.

What do you feel?

I feel it is the first day of a new month
A fresh start to the month and another chance to set a new goal and enjoy the spring season..

"Good morning daddy. it's the first day of the month. Could you kindly drop us at our Bible study center on your way to work?" James asked his dad.

"Ok, hurry up. I will drop you off on my way" his daddy replied to him.

James quickly prepared himself, ate his breakfast and got into his dad's car. His dad then drove off heading first to the Bible center before going to his workplace.

"Here's some money for a taxi when you're done okay. I won't be picking you up. Make sure to go home straight away" James's dad instructed.

"Yes sir. I will. Have a great day at work" James was saying as he opened the car door to alright. Waving his dad bye, he hurriedly walked into the Bible center to meet his friends.

Few hours later, the center closed and James along with his best friend John left the center together and took a ride home.

On arriving home James greeted his mum and she asked where is dad was to which he responded that he had gone to work after dropping him off at the center.

Later in the day, James noticed that his dad was 45 minutes late from work and so he inquired from his mum

"Mum, is daddy not back yet?" He is already late by 45 minutes. I just hope he is okay".

"Don't worry dear. Your dad will be home soon. Come help me in the kitchen let's make dinner" his mum responded to him and he obediently followed his mum to the kitchen.

After preparing dinner, James checked the time to find that his dad was now two hours late. "This has never happened before" he thought.

"Mum could you call Dad and find out where he is and if he s alright?" He's pleaded to his mum. She responded by picking up her phone and calling his dad but dad's phone was not connecting. Panic striken, James began to sob silently. His mum Pat his head telling him not to worry that his dad would be back safe and sound.

After thirty minutes of waiting for his dad, James decided to have his dinner. Just then, his dad came out from his study to the dinning area smiling.

Mum began laughing at Dad's prank and that was when it dawned on James that his dad had been around all this while.

Realizing the prank played on him, he joined in the laughter even though he was not too pleased with it but he was happy that his dad was safe.
