The Benefits of Apple for the Human Body

This is another post about the benefits of adding fruit to your diet. Today I'll talk about apples, a healthy and delicious choice for those with a sweet tooth.

To begin, I'll talk about the history of apples, so join me briefly on this journey of knowledge.

The apple tree's scientific name is Malus domestica. Its origin is still the subject of much controversy and debate, but its wild form is believed to have originated in South Asia and the Caucasus. Its cultivation is estimated to have begun over 2,000 years ago. Apples were commonly consumed both raw and dried, allowing them to be preserved for longer periods.

From South Asia and the Caucasus, apples spread throughout the world through migration. Around the 17th century, they reached the Americas and regions of Africa and Oceania.

Now that I've nourished your mind with history, it's time to show you the benefits of nourishing your body with apples.
