Students Airdrop and their evolution & last popularity change

About dCity

dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.

Evolution of Students cards

Students have been present in player cities for some time. Now the moment has come for the announced Airdrop of Students for users. For every University and School card a player has in the city, will receive a Student card. However, the Student is not an usual citizen because along with the Airdrop, a game mechanic will be added to this card - evolution.

Student will change over time into Student (debt) card. The chance for this to happen will depend on time, i.e. if the Student is older, the higher the chance to change. University Campuses will increase the chance of changing the card. The Student (debt) card can then be changed for one of the cards listed below for 10 SIM per Student.

The chance of turning a Student into one of the cards below is random and the probability looks this way:

• Homeless = 5%
• Scientist = 5%
• Worker = 5%
• Hard Worker = 5%
• Policeman = 20%
• Eco Activist = 15%
• Soldier = 19% (War increases the probability of turning a Student into a Soldier)
• Economist = 20%
• Professor = 5%
• Lawyer = 1%

The last change in the popularity factor

In a week from this post, the popularity factor will be reduced. From a value of 0.63 it will be changed to 0.6. The change in the population boost caused by this adjustment can be seen in the graph below:

Auctions for members of The SIMillionaire Club

Members of The SIMillionaire Club can bid on Splinterlands cards for quite some time now. As a reminder, Club members can bid on cards from the Splinterlands game. The starting price for these cards is only 50% of the current price. The winner pay for the card with HIVE or USDC and the resulting funds are then used to buy SIM tokens and increase the funds of the dcityfund account to earn through liquidity on BeeSwap.

The first card auctioned by Club members was a gold Spirit Hoarder card. Several cards have already been auctioned and their total value is over a thousand dollars.

In addition to the opportunity to participate in the auction, various giveaways are organised for members of The SIMillionaire Club. These include Splinterlands cards or packs.
