Spot on!
I think the sad part is where we make excuses for them instead of accepting the truth and leaving. And some people will even tell you to make excuses for them or gaslight you into thinking you’re not making excuses for them.

Unfortunately, 99 percent of people do this, making excuses for the people we love or like that don't feel the same toward us, we see the signs yet turn blind eyes to it...
