Hyper Rail Blaster is a new Play-to-Earn (P2E) arcade game from the Arcade Colony platform built on the Hive blockchain ecosystem. The game combines classic arcade gameplay like Space Invaders with modern blockchain technology and an in-game rewards system.
Hyper Rail Blaster is a 2D shooter game where the player controls a horizontal tank cannon that destroys enemies called the "Pricklepack gang". These enemies are germ-like in structure and when you shoot and destroy them, they split into two smaller units, until you reach the smallest unit. In this game, an enemy spawns in wave 1 or an additional enemy is added in each subsequent wave. And a powerful boss enemy appears after every three waves. At the beginning of the game, the player starts with 3 health points. If an enemy touches the player, 1 health point is reduced and the game ends when the health is zero.
Hyper Rail Blaster is a Play-to-Earn game where players can earn COLONY tokens. The game's reward system is divided into three parts, such as how many waves the player has beaten and rewards are given based on their score, and a leaderboard based on the highest score and number of games played, which is reset every 5 days. And the highest score in the game will be recorded for the first 30 days. The player who achieves the highest score every 30 days will receive 50% of the jackpot reward pool.
The game's currency is "Quarks" which acts as a free-to-play currency. Quarks can be dropped randomly when destroying enemies in the game or can be purchased from the Arcade Colony shop (1000 Quarks = 1 SCRIPT or 1000 Credits).
Hyper Rail Blaster is a simple but very fun Play-to-Earn arcade game that combines the classic gaming experience and modern blockchain technology. Easy controls, competitive leaderboards, and earning opportunities make it an attractive addition to the Hive ecosystem. It is expected that the game will be able to reach a wider audience when a mobile version is launched in the future.
