This is common in many countries: employers are looking for young staff to pay less. Recent graduates or inexperienced people can be cheap labor. And as they know the need that some people live or the desire we have to make our resume, some bosses take advantage of that to do what you narrate or worse. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Yea, this happens everywhere. Employers coming up with different but false promises to employees but reality then dawns on them for being tricked and taken advantage of. So disheartening.
