We Are Alive! Watermelons in February?
My wife and I visited the grocery store today to get some discounted cheese to make a special mac-and-cheese meal for tomorrow.
While we were there, we saw something surprising. It's early February and we saw a bunch of whole watermelons for sale. What?
These must be from down south, like way down south. Growing where the sun is still shining bright!

When my wife was pregnant to our son, she craved watermelons, in February. We live in Munich, which is almost on the same latitude as Vancouver. I've been searching a load of supermarkets, till I found 2 small watermelons. But, as the saying is, happy wife, happy life.

Hello, here in Venezuela, you can find watermelons at any time of the year. My wife makes juice and then, with that juice and unflavored gelatin, she makes treats called gummy candies. Instead of using water, she uses only watermelon, as it has a high water content. It's very easy to make.

Wow, great water melons have arrived. We get them in the summer and they are very delicious. Water melons fill up the water deficit and are very tasty to eat.

Oh wow, we won't see watermelons until like . . . April in the stores and even then, the first batch of watermelons that comes to the store is usually really bad, so I usually wait until June-July to get on with the Watermelon frenzy :D

Around here June-July is about the right time for local watermelons. !BBH
In our region, the temperature goes up to 45 to 48 centigrade in the month of June. Eating watermelon in hot weather cools our stomach and body. Watermelon is a great blessing for us in summer.
