Grateful for Fun with Cousins! Launching a Kite.
The children visited their cousins for a short while and they showed them their kite. It was perfect for this day, since it was warm, sunny and most importantly, windy!
The children managed to get it up in to the air a few times, but we didn't stay long enough to see it go up high.
They really enjoyed "launching" the kite into the air.
The cousins have a large back yard, but after a big rain (like we had recently) their yard floods. it's almost like they have a temporary pond in their back yard!
What a great day to fly a kite!

Flying a kite was always one of those things I thought was a super lame activity, but always ended up having so much fun doing that activity.
The fun ratio also depends a lot from the weather too, it's a shame that y'all didn't have enough wind to keep the kite up high for a longer time, but at least kids enjoyed the launching :)

Kite flying is very much weather dependent, good to have a back up plan if the wind isn't cooperating. !BBH
Fun, kites! I haven't flow a kite since I was a kid, but I remember that it was always a lot of fun! I loved that video clip. Older movies are soooo different, and in a good way. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
