Our family has been dealing with a very uncomfortable illness. It started with the children and had cold-like symptoms. When daddy and mommy got it, it also began with cold-like symptoms, but much more severe.

It's taking days to get over it. Whatever this is, it's not a cold. I won't describe the symptoms, but they're really nasty. I lost full range of my voice and my lungs hurt from coughing.

Thankfully, my door-knocking ended last Friday and being "grounded" has allowed us to keep up with all the buzz from the election. But I'm ready to be over it, ready to get rid of the tickle in my check and ready to get back to the garden, get the house in order and start getting some projects done.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
