My wife and I have been going to "Executive Meetings" most months and it's always at the same place with the same people and we always come home feeling sort of crummy.

There's usually arguments and disputes and sort of a dark depressing cloud over everything.

Well there's a new Executive team in place and tonight they voted on who will be the new chair, co-chair, secretary and treasurer for the next two years. It was over so quickly!

And wow the new venue is very different, it's a PALACE!

In the parking lot there is a gazebo with statues for pillers! They must have a headache!

The meeting ended early and we got home with plenty of time to get children to bed. There were no arguments, no "point of order!!!!", no confrontations in the hall, no gloomy clouds.

We came home saying, wow. That was kind of boring. But nice! We smiled at one another. I think we may be able to get some things done now!
