Today's Sharing Your Battle is with the amazing Nerissa Tridawn, a strong and simple card of the water element, it is very cool to see its magic hit obliterating the weak cards 😄, I had no difficulty winning a match with it, the game of this post was for the gold league.

🌟 NERISSA TRIDAWN 🌟

Nerrissa Tridawn is a water epic card released in the Chaos Legions collection, it uses strong magic attacks to defend itself, this card has no ability, but its attributes are very high, it is very resistant and has an excellent damage and thanks to the type of attack can play from any position, usually occupies a position of DPS getting in the first lines to tanking sniper attacks and if necessary can hold the front line.

Best Rules: Armored Up, Back to Basics, Earthquake, Explosive Weaponry, Wands Out and Noxious Fumes

Worst Rules: Weak Magic, Equalizer and Counterspell

Nerissa Tridawn is a simple and effective card, widely used in any of its lvls, which is why it is almost among the most expensive epic cards in the Chaos Legions collection, today its regular foil version costs $1.60 and its gold foil version costs $9.92.

AK7xG2g8zV2DqJP6mCgcxByrApNuF451Qhyd4hU54qZXBycs4uwfJrWbDkLXsBe.pngStampede - The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.
AK6X2KTy7jXircX8GbEGCqyVmkqGeybgPrsHv4nxjjH4oQnjucCjoiTWFWfvzG4.pngHealed Out - All healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners.

In a match with 29 mana and the three rules Broken Arrows/Stampede/Healed Out, this amount of mana complicates a bit to use a heavy card like Nerissa Tridawn, but as I was testing plays with it risked positioning it. As the game would not have attacks at a distance the chance of opponent appear with magical damage was high, so I put my Djinn Oshanuss as tank, followed by one of my favorite cards the Tide Bitter, here I was in doubt where it would position this fiend and ended up leaving it in the third position, just behind came the star of the match left it in the middle of the line-up, my only support is the Venator Kinjo it will reduce the speed of the opposing team and help the Djinn to improve its dodging and finally the Pelacor Bandit this guy will try to hunt some unprotected support of the opponent.

My strategy was to hope the Djinn would dodge as much damage as possible with the help of Kelya's bonus and Kinjo's debuff, while the Star of the match attacked with its massive damage, I still rely on Pelacor to pick up some unsuspecting card 😁.

CardLineUP
Kelya Frendul_lv5.pngSummoner : The chance of facing a magic combo is high, so your armor bonus may not be very useful, but the speed bonus will help the Djinn a lot.
Djinn Oshannus_lv3.pngTank : The best magic tank, with its high speed it can dodge very well, especially the green magic cards, because it doesn't have much speed.
Tide Biter_lv4.pngOff-Tank: A simple and efficient card, 3 mana to hit with 2 damage, thanks to the reach ability can attack from the second position, besides not taking damage from returns and explosions.
Torrent Fiend_lv3.pngSuport: A free meat shield, it will hardly be able to attack.
Nerissa Tridawn_lv4.pngDPS : The star of the match, it has incredible damage and is tough, without other abilities its task is simple, just hit 😅.
Venator Kinjo_lv3.pngSuport: It will cast a debuff reducing the speed of all opponent cards, which will help the Djinn a lot.
Pelacor Bandit_lv6_gold.pngDPS: A support in the last positions can be a problem, the task of this Pelacor is to try to eliminate them as soon as possible.

🤜The Battle 🤛

Analyzing the match: As predicted my opponent came with a green magic combo and I have an excellent defense against him, however he protected his supports well and my Pelacor will take a while to get to the Goblin, Nerissa's damage will be essential.

Round 1 - Right at the start, the star of the match opened the scoring and took down Chaos Agent, my Djinn Oshanuss dodged at least 1 attack and ended up with half of its HP.

image.png

Round 2 - No units died here, but there are two that shouldn't pass the next round, Hill Giant and Djinn Oshanuss, who has dodged 3 attacks this turn.

image.png

Round 3 - In the very first move the Djinn knocks out the Hill Giant but soon after is knocked out by Regal Peryton, and before the end I lost the Tide Bitter and the meat shield 😅.

image.png

Round 4 - The round starts with the Pelacor Bandit finally defeating the Regal Peryton, and then the star of the match takes out the Magi of Chaos, The game is very balanced.

image.png

Round 5 - Luckily, the Star of the match is very fast and attacks before Queen Mycelia, taking her out of the game, then Pelacor hits the goblin and leaves him almost dead.

image.png

Round 5 - And finally victory came, Pelacor hit the golbin fast leaving him on the verge of death, the star of the match delivered the last blow soon after.

🎊 Conclusion 🎊

My strategy worked, but I expected the Djinn to dodge more hits, it was only 4 dodges in total, almost all opponent cards had only 1 speed 😅, The tank held up well for 3 rounds, but I think it could have been better, my off-tank did not help much, it always hit the armor of the opponent cards and died before doing something, the meat shield died as expected, my improvised support was useful reducing the speed of the opponent's team, Pelacor fought a nice battle with Regal Peryton, and had a good participation in the end, and the star of the match did what it's had to do, hit hard and held the front line.

Nerissa Tridawn is a simple but extremely strong card, its mana cost is a little scary in matches with a low or medium amount of this resource, but as in this match it can sometimes be a good move, especially if the opponent plays a lot of cards with low HP, for not having skills it doesn't suffer with the rule back to basics and makes it one of the best options for this type of fight.
