BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! RULESET: Keep Your Distance

ABOUT: Keep Your Distance:

Keep Your Distance is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which monsters with melee attacks may not be used.

• Use Phase, Void, Void Armor, and Magic Reflect to counter magic attacks.
• Use Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks.
• Units with 2 types of attack (which include melee) cannot be used.

Battle Ruleset:

There were three rulesets in this battle which are Keep Your Distance, Target Practice, and Close Range. The allowed mana cap was 99 and only Dragon splinter summoners were not active in this battle.

Battle Summoner:

I choose the FRANZ RUFFMANE as the summoner for this battle. This summoner is a reward edition Rare Life Splinter Summoner and costs 6 mana. It has two abilities: +1 armor and Conscript. I chose this summoner because I wanted to use the Gladius edition card in this battle, and it was the only summoner that allowed me to use the Gladius cards. I have upgraded it to level 5, and under this summoner, I can use monsters of up to level 6 common cards.

1. IZIAR:

In the first position, I used IZIAR which is a Reward edition legendary magic attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 11 mana, does a -2 magic attack, 12 health, and has Taunt and Void abilities at level 1. I used it in this battle because of its Taunt and Void abilities and all the enemy team monsters will target this card and my other monsters will be safe. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and it works very well for me whenever I use it in my battles.

2. THANALORIAN ARCHER:

In the second position, I used THANALORIAN ARCHER which is a Rebellion edition rare magic attack monster from the Life Splinter. It also costs 5 mana, does a -1 magic attack, and has 2 abilities Snip and Lookout at level 1. I used it in the second position because of its Ambush ability due to which the adjacent monsters will get less damage. Currently, I have this monster at level 1 and I have good experience using it in this battle.

3. SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF:

In the third position, I used SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF which is a reward edition Rare Range attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 9 mana, does a -3 range attack, and has the Snipe ability at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which its range attack increases to -4 and also it gains one more ability Piercing. I used it in this battle because of its high-range attack and its abilities. Currently, I have this monster at level 4 and it works really well for me in the battles whenever I use it in my battles.

4. DJINN RENOVA:

In the fourth position, I used DJINN RENOVA which is also a reward edition an Epic magic attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 7 mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has a Strengthen ability at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which its magic attack increases to -3 and also gains one more ability Triage. I used it in the fourth position and in this battle because of its Triage ability and also it will give high magic damage. Currently, I have this monster at level 4 and it works very well for me in battles.

5. CAPTAIN KATIE:

In the fifth position, I used CAPTAIN KATIE which is a Gladius edition Rare magic attack monster from the Life Splinter. It costs 7 mana, does a -3 magic attack, and has 2 abilities Snipe and Bloodlust at level 1. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which its magic attack increases from -3 to -4. I used it in the fifth position and in this battle because of its high magic damage and Bloodlust ability. Currently, I have this monster at level 4 and it works very great for me in battles.

6. VENARI CRYSTALSMITH:

In the last position, I used VENARI CRYSTALSMITH which is also a Reward edition Range attack monster from the Life splinter. It costs 4 mana, does a -2 range attack, and has one ability Tank Heal at level 1. I used it in this battle because of its Tank Heal ability which will restore the health of the monster in the first place. I have upgraded it to level 4 in which its range attack increases to -2 and most of the time I am using it in my battles when I am playing with the Life splinter.
