An amazing day at Museu do Videogame Itinerante! 🎮🕹️

Last week I went with my boyfriend and some friends to visit the Museu do Videogame Itinerante (Traveling Videogame Museum) that was here in my city, Juiz de Fora/MG, Brazil. The exhibition took place at Independência Shopping, which is very close to my house. So, besides being a really cool experience that I couldn't miss, there was no way to make an excuse that it was too far away, right?

So we embarked on this adventure and delved into the early days of the console era. I took the opportunity to take pictures of the various examples of video games scattered throughout the mall. There were copies older than me! And mind you, I was born in 1989! Some of them I already knew, and some of them I even had in my childhood, like the Master System, Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, and Wii.

Currently, I'm not someone who likes to spend hours in front of the TV playing video games, but I confess that I'm passionate about Super Mario, Mario Kart, Guitar Hero, and Just Dance. If someone invites me to play one of these games, I don't say no and I jump right in!

And you know what's cool? The very day we went to the expo, the Just Dance tournament finals were happening! I spent hours there watching the performances, and I have to admit that I really wanted to play, but I was too embarrassed. Imagine getting up on stage and dancing to Just Dance in front of hundreds of people! No way!

The show was absolutely amazing! And another thing I liked was that the organizers provided several different consoles so that people could play. Unfortunately, it was very crowded, with long lines everywhere, and I couldn't venture into anything. I just watched.

Oh, and you know what's cool? In the middle of the exhibition I found this 'Pense Bem'. Does anybody here remember that? It was like a little educational computer that had a lot of games on it. The idea was to teach while the child played. When I was little, back in the 90s, I had one of those and I loved it so much!
