Solana NFTs Are Officially Live on OpenSea

So, big day for Solana NFT traders finally came as the Solana based NFTs are now available on OpenSea, the biggest NFT trading marketplace. OpenSea made the announcement today morning, allowing beta support for Solana NFTs.
The news of Solana NFTs integration on OpenSea have been buzzing around for quite some time, with leaked imaged popping up in January and OpenSea's last weeks teaser.
OpenSea is basically the biggest Ethereum based NFT trading marketplace, and with Solana NFTs integration OpenSea will also support the largest NFT ecosystem outside the Ethereum and its sidechains.
OpenSea now supports 165 Solana based NFT collections via its initial beta and support for the more collection will be rolled out in the next phase. Popular Solana NFT collection listed on OpenSea include Solana Monkey Business, DeGods, Degenerate Ape Academy, Aurory, and Shadowy Super Coder.
Magic Eden is the leading Solana NFTs trading marketplace but with the giant like OpenSea opening its doors for Solana NFTs will certainly take away a huge chuck of daily Solana NFT trading volumes. Following the last week's teaser by OpenSea Solana NFTs trading volumes spiked sharply.
When compared with popular NFT marketplaces on Solana like Magic Eden and FTX, OpenSea offers variety of advantages. First is the exposure to OpenSea's largest NFT audience. Second is, contrary to Magic Eden and FTX NFTs listed on the OpenSea marketplace are held in the owner's wallet until they are sold.

Solana have been NFT darling for some time. But they need to scale their network to overcome outages.

Ah sweet! I wrote about this some time ago and after looking at the numbers Solana actully has a rather large stake in NFTs dollar value transactions I was surprised. It's nearly 3x-4x the size of polygon so I'm curious to pull some numbers after a week or so for sales volume.
Solana is good but they need to overcome their outages sooner than latter.
