DIY kiddies gown

avatar

If there is an outfit I could do for free asides mine and that of my family it's kiddies wear.
I love making them as it's fun to create a miniature dress and get to see it's outcome.

I will be making loads of them this week. Here is how I made this one.

The inner lining, Ankara fabric, pocket and zip

cut out pattern of the dress

Sewing using the industrial sewing machine

I sewed for four hours through the night. Sewing round the neck then the zip area, so it could have a nice finishing. Before joining the back and front.

The bottom part was the last part to attach.

Here is the inner part of the gown

The back inner part

Here it is

I love these designs are very favorite, someday I want to make one like this. And the fabrics are very nice, they don't sell them in that pattern here.

So nice, I love the colour of the ankara and how it blends with the lining. Kids clothing comes out awesome with the right designs. Welldone
