Sunday Mass: Gospels of the Day

Today I am going to the church to hear the gospel of the GOD from the pastor. I'm excited because I can now hear again the message of the GOD.

It's Sunday here in our place and you know where to go if it is Sunday. It is church day, me and my family went to the church to attend the mass. With a couple of people attending the mass, we were focus on listening to the gospels. Our mass lasts for 3 hours because I am a Oneness Pentecostal.

You might be wondering on why do we have a 3 hours but to tell you honestly, it is really good, 3 hours is not enough to listen to the gospels from the GOD but were grateful that we have an awesome pastor.

Here is the first gospel that the pastor said Proverbs 10:6 and it said that

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.

from what I remember, it is about how you will value your knowledge that you will be humble at all times rather than talking just like gossiping that there is no end to it. Talking with nonsense can be lethal that it may destroy into you someday.

I, too, can relate to what the pastor said because the gospel was being translated into our own dialect which is "Bisaya" so that we will understand more about it. It is really important to what you will say and think on how you say than talk and think.

The next gospel is this Chronicles 2:13 from king james bible

And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father's,

Then the pastor said about the how we really need GOD. Even if we have a leader to follow but that leader don't even have a GOD, then it is useless. It is clear that we need a leader that follows GOD so that the members will also follow. After our pastor explains that to us, he shares about his life experience related to this topic and we were moved by it.

The last gospel was 2 Corinthians 4:4 from New International Version of the book and it said

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

That being said that lots of people who doesn't believe in GOD may get destructed from the DEVIL and lure those people into not believing the path of righteousness.

After the pastor said all of those gospels and shares his experience related to it then we stand and sang a Christian song.

We, then, listen to the children who are singing a song then and went to the center of the church to give tithes and offering because we need to give a portion of our hard earned money so that it will give back hundredths of times when we give tithes.

It's another awesome Sunday mass together with my family not because of the people that went there but because of the gospels that the pastor said to us to enlighten us what the gospel said.
