Now VR games got woke too 🙈 Here is what's wrong about it.

Jedes Mal, wenn man Assassin's Creed Nexus in VR startet, erscheint folgender Warn-Hinweis, der darauf hinweist, dass bei der Entwicklung des Spiels ein multi-kulturelles Team mit unterschiedlichen religiösen Überzeugungen, sexuellen Orientierung und Gender-Identitäten mitgewirkt haben soll.

Ok, warum muss man das wissen und jedes Mal extra darauf hinweisen, wenn man ein Computerspiel startet?

Genauso gut könnte man hinweisen, dass bei der Entwicklung große und kleine Menschen, dicke und dünne, weiße und farbige, junge und ältere, Demokraten und Republikaner mitgewirkt haben.

Die könnten sich sonst bei so einem Warn-Hinweis diskriminiert fühlen, da sie nicht explizit genannt wurden. Und man könnte noch Tausend weitere Unterscheidungsmerkmale aufzählen.

Das ist eben das Problem mit Wokeness, es ist irgendwie gut gemeint, stellt dann aber eine Gruppe vor allen anderen.

Eigentlich sollte es egal sein, welche Orientierung das Entwicklerteam von einem Produkt gehabt hat. Auf das Produkt kommt es an. Das Endergebnis zählt.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Habt ihr solche Hinweise bei Games auch schon gesehen? Findet ihr die Hinweise notwendig oder unnötig?

VR games got woke too. Here is why this could be problematic.

Every time you start Assassin's Creed Nexus in VR, the following warning appears, pointing out that a multicultural team with different religious beliefs, sexual orientations and gender identities was involved in the development of the game.

Ok, why do you have to know this and point it out every time you start a computer game?

You could just as easily point out that tall and short people, fat and thin, white and colored, young and old, Democrats and Republicans were involved in the development.

They could otherwise feel discriminated by such a warning because they were not explicitly mentioned. And you could list a thousand other distinguishing features.

That's the problem with wokeness, it's somehow well-intentioned, but then puts one group before all others.

It shouldn't really matter what orientation the development team had for a product. It's the product that counts. The end result is what matters.
