Wie nennt man diese Dinger, die an Bäume hängen und dann runterfallen? Das Wort ist mir schon ein paar mal nicht eingefallen.

Cones are the technical term for the pinecones that detach from trees in a conical shape.

In Kärnten nennen wir diese Dinger "Tschurtschln" (dürfte der slovenische Einfluss dort sein 😉)

Bei mir geht der Name in Rauch auf, denn sie brennen so gut und helfen beim Anfeuern des Ofens, nur nicht zu viel auf einmal!

Zapfen, wäre wohl der allgemeine Begriff, wobei damit dann die Leute weniger anfangen können als mit dem regionalen Begriff oder dem Zusatz z.B. Kiefernzapfen, Fichtenzapfen etc. Erzähl mal jmd. "ich war Zapfen sammeln" ohne Zusammenhang.😂

Tannenzapfen wird man wohl kaum am Boden finden, denn diese stehen aufrecht auf den Zweigen und lösen sich Stück für Stück ab. Eines der Unterscheidungsmerkmale, zwischen Tanne und Fichte. 😉

Bei uns tummeln sich sogar zwei Bezeichnungen für dieses Objekt:
Šišarka oder Češer
Ob nun regional bedingt, ob von der Pinie oder Lärche oder ob männlich oder weiblich – darauf fehlt mir das fundierte Wissen. Ich sollte mich mal spontan auf eine kurze Unterhaltung mit den Zapfen einlassen. Öffnen sie sich noch ein wenig mehr, habe ich wohl die richtige Bezeichnung getroffen? 😊
