I don't like these wild animals as I became afraid of them.
Ich hoffe das Muttertier war nicht in der Nähe. Sonst können die aggressiv werden.
Hab ich mir auch gedacht, aber habe das Muttertier nicht entdeckt. Vlt auch besser so.

I haven't encountered a wild boar before but I heard they taste good.
How was hiking
This is a baby boar. The adults could be very aggressive, mainly the females with cubs.
Laufen die da frei rum, oder ist das über/durch einen Zaun fotografiert? :D
Die laufen wirklich frei herum, sind aber meistens nicht so nah am Wanderweg.

I don't think I have seen a wild boar before outside in person. So it's nice to see it.
Bin letztes Jahr durch so nen Auto-Tierpark gefahren in Schweden, mit meinen Hunden auf der Rückbank. Einer der beiden (Nev - Husky) hat einen ziemlich starken Jagdtrieb. Links und Rechts von der "Straße" waren immer wieder gruppen von Wildschweinen, als ich dann anhielt um sie zu beobachten wollte Nev durchs offene Fenster rausspringen und sich einen eher aussichtslosen Kampf mit denen geben. Glücklicherweise habe ich genau in diesem Moment zurück geschaut um ihn gerade rechtzeitig am Geschirr zu packen und fest zu halten.

oh heftig, aber gut, dass du noch rechtzeitig reagiert hast. Aus diesem Grund ist die Mitnahme von Hunden in diesem Naturpark verboten.
Verständlich ja, Nev ist zwar echt stämmig gebaut und hält so manchem stand, aber gegen eine Gruppe von über 20 Wildschweinen + Mutter- & Vatertiere wäre es ziemlich schnell aus gewesen für ihn.
Jetzt nur aufpassen, dass kein Gallier kommt. 😅

That's an exotic animal you got there. Haven't seen one in real life.
So far, I have met a deer, roe deer, boar, fox, viper in the capital of the Czech Republic. Do you have wolves and bears in Austria? We have a few here, but I've never met them.
Otherwise, congratulations on the photo. A boar once chased me, and since then I don't take photos when I meet him, but try to disappear.

Certainly not in the city center. Rather on the edges. I am also 56 years old. 30, 40 years ago there were fewer people and more animals.
