Finishing college on time, I get some compliments

I am a student majoring in mathematics at one of the state universities in my area, but in choosing this major I was not my own choice but the choice of parents who really want their children to become math teachers someday, just imagine this is a big burden that I have to live with during college, because I was a graduate of a vocational school where we didn't really focus on pedestrians since we were still in SMK,

When I first entered college, you could say I often couldn't answer some of the basic math questions, because the lecture system was very different from school, where the lecturer explained at a glance, then we looked for everything ourselves with some of the basic concepts we'd learned before, I going through all of that very burdened, but after continuing for about 4 while I found some friends who always taught me about all the things that I was less capable of and of course I kept learning to be able to keep up with them

I kept studying until finally I was able to get through all of that even though I only got standard grades every semester but I was so proud of myself because there wasn't a single subject that I had to remedial again, and finally we all entered the last semester where we had to make one. thesis as one of our last assignments before finishing college, because I am aware of my shortcomings, I am very routine to carry out guidance with my supervisor, even when doing practice I also take time for guidance where some of my friends don't do that

not long after that the thesis trial schedule trial was opened and I immediately registered at the first opening that made me the only male student in my unit who was able to complete the thesis in the first batch so that at that time I got some praise from a unique person who they still did not expect that I managed to write a thesis so quickly

until the thesis trial, thank God, I went well and got a pretty good grade because from chapter 1 to chapter 4 I made it myself so I could answer some of the questions asked by the examiner properly, some other students told me, I think you will dropping out of college in the middle of the road with the pressure you get but you manage to prove that you can finish college on time

for me that's the biggest compliment I've ever gotten, even though it looks normal but means a lot to me and my parents, because compliments don't just come to me, even my parents also get compliments from my neighbors, of course that makes me proud of myself who managed to get through a difficult period without complaining to the last point, but behind it all, of course, there were many obstacles that I had to go through, starting from looking for various kinds of books as my reference for writing my thesis, and looking for some examples of my thesis as reading material I. my parents' dream of becoming a teacher was achieved, and until now I have not received more praise than that, although there have been some who have received praise from the office but that for me is just ordinary praise.
