Captivating Sounds of the Holiday Season

The closer we get to a holiday, the more excited I'm because of the possibility of taking a break from work, having some time to myself, family, and loved ones, and having time to reflect, indulge in other activities, and the like. During the holiday season, there are loads of songs that resonate with the atmosphere, and one particular song I'll talk about in this article is my favorite. Please read further to find out which it's.

So most of the songs I love that are made specifically for the holiday seasons are mostly centered around Christmas, and although this doesn't mean there aren't any songs for other holiday seasons or that Christmas is better than others, what it means is that the ones I love most are related to Christmas.

So without further ado, let me tell you which is my favorite among all, and I hope you'll love it.

DRUMMER BOY by Pentatonix

This is a song by a group of musicians who came together in collaboration to cook up one of the best masterpieces I've ever heard when it comes to Christmas songs. This song, drummer Boy, is not thoroughly about a Bible character that relates to the birth of Jesus, yet they were able to coin the song and its storyline to resonate with the reason for the season, and I just love it.

The major reason why I love this song apart from the lyrics and how good it was was because they literally didn't use any musical equipment while singing the song, and yet when you listen to it, you'll think they use several musical instruments, but then you take a thorough analysis of the video and the song, and Jollof realizes how the beat and sounds were made.

The group of musicians literally made all the beats of the songs with their mouths, including where songs like a drum set were played and where it seemed like a piano was also in the mouth that was used to produce sounds. I couldn't help but be amazed at how good and perfect those musicians were.

I also have to give it to them for their sweet and lovely voices. I just love these guys and the songs they produced this holiday season, and it has grown to become my all-time favorite holiday season song of all time, and I can't help but listen to it during every single Christmas holiday season.

Apart from this song, there's one other song sang by the CAC good women church choir several years ago, and it's title is Odun lo sopin meaning the year is running to an end. I can categorize and tell you that this is the most popular holiday song in the whole of Nigeria, or better yet, in the western parts of Nigeria, because despite the song being released in the 1979, it's still very widely loved and accepted by other Nigerians during the holiday season when the year is running out.

That's about all of my favorite holiday songs of all time. I hope you've heard any of them or listened to them before and loved them; if not, YouTube videos are attached to the article so you can feast your eyes and feed your ears with this masterpiece of a song.

Thanks so much for your time. Have a wonderful night's rest and stay blessed.

That Odun lo si opin song is a legendary song, it is evergreen. The lyrics is all about the year coming to and end and prayer to end the year in a good state.

Pentatonix group are very unique, I love how that beayboxer does his thing with just his mouth.

Its just mind-blowing what he does, they've all got a huge talent.

And for the odun lo sopin, it's probably should be topping every single chart in Nigeria for being up there year in year out.

I never heard any one of the music earlier. It's quite natural for me also because I am not used to listen music on regular basis.

The second sound is looking old and it would be nostalgic to many people or may be to two generations.
