A Ruined Dream 🚴🚵

Hello cycling community my update for today is not good as the usual. From washing the bike to assembling now a ruined dream.

Yesterday Yana eldest daughter had an intrams at school. She is already grade 12, while you're Rider Geoffrey my son is grade 8. The school decided to separate their intrams for each level, because there where many students compared to before. The two kids seems to not used in being apart about, 16:30 Yana got home while her brother left 30 minutes earlier. I told Yana why did you left your brother? She told me she haven't seen it, I remember he told me that he will going to his classmate to check their project.

I was washing the dishes a while ago then suddenly my brother at law was yelling. He was mad and panicking, I don't understand what he was trying to say but he seems he wants me to go there. My daughter check to see what's happening, she ride on our boat and she was told that her brother had a bike accident. I was terribly shocked while absorbing the details. I even saw Geoffrey with my elder cousin earlier walking together. Then I saw my son I wasn't able to get closer because I knew how many blood he loss. They said he was with someone with a friend? But the bikes kid's seems to have no damages at all while our bike rim was ruined 😭. We went to see the kid they were talking about, it was brought to our uncle because my brother in law can't help it self but to get mad to it. Because he know how his niece biking skills, but it was an accident no one wants it to happen. The photos we're taken as we arrive home from the hospital and barangay.

The barangay captain decided to bring the two kids at the hospital. He let us used the service, my son really wants to explain but our relatives is pressuring the situation. They wanted my son to blame for the accident, and because they said they saw him bike like that and like that. We didn't bother to explain ourselves more. They didn't even realize that our bike was Ruined while the other has no damages at all. I just shut my mouth and hope that the two kids are fine at all.

We were transferred in the second hospital the First was no attending physician. In the second they already know what to do on the two kids. We thank God that the results was just fine there was just minor injuries that needed to be treated. I was amazed by the the X-tray before we used to wait for week's to see the results but know smartphones can be involved.

We were given prescription we need to bought the said medicines, me and the kids father look pharmacy outside the hospital. And we did was right because the price was reduced to half. As we arrive they we're given skin test so they know if the kids are allergic to the antibiotics. We need to wait for the given time before we they gave the shots.

They were also given first aid treatment. Because we we're at the emergency room the kids saw a lot patient and my co parents told that they need to learn their lesson or else it may got worse.

After the long wait the skin test was just fine they we're given the shot needed. And we were told to buy the medicines needed, I only bought 14 pieces the prescriptions said it's need to be 21. While the pain reliever was not that important. I didn't sleep well I've also talked to his friend and said that Geoffrey is good at the road. But we can't change the situation because it's already done. His friend told me that Geoffrey will still continue his dream, he wants to brought a lot of medals at home. He just a need a safety gear first and his stirring wheel needs to be shorten. We'll support him but this time they'll be rules added, Geoff is still the same like nothing happened but the way they blame us is more painful. But I know God knows it all, the most important is they are both fine.

Thank you so much for reading
Have a safe ride everyone
Love, Geoffrey your bicycle rider and @usagigallardo015

Ouch! Cyclists are quite vulnerable on their bikes. Luckily the injuries were only external. I hope the reparation of the bicycle isn't too costly.

Holy shit! Thank God he's alright and at such a young age he's gonna be fine soon. Make sure to give him a helmet.
