Holy shit. I mean censorship happens before he purchased. Not after. It's now " open" what happens.
Also, he is accountable if shit goes wrong. I think his reputation is way more worth it than playing censorship god.

Also, those big shareholders Web2 companies have nobody that takes responsibility for. Nobody can be blamed if shit goes wrong.
Maybe Elon is not "the free speech Messias". But it is another model, that will work IMO way better.

Something that needs to be understood is that many social networks will be built in respect of "web 3", This is the exposure we actually need to scale because with the name upfront pays a better chance of hive being discovered by many.

And Twitter his advertisement channel for Tesla. So I think as long this works, free speech on Twitter is not in danger. Special because he would lose his reputation.

The real gripe should be that people need to stop getting their politics from social media & start learning what their "representatives" are doing & take an interest in their government & it's activities. #DYOR isn't just for crypto plebs!
Instead of complaining about Elon, people should be complaining that the majority of people are to lazy to research what's happening in their own political party and government. Watch them as they watch us. Instead we just shitpost political memes on the internet and anything that doesn't fit our ideology or narrative becomes "disinformation" or "fake news". This isn't the tragedy, the tragedy is people aren't willing to research and find out what's happening for themselves.
