Evolving My Gladius Cards

After farming many Glints throughout the last season in Splinterlands and opening several chests to do the "infinite farm" as explained in my last post, it’s time to spend all the Merits 
accumulated to evolve the Gladius cards and try to improve my performance in Brawls.
I managed to buy 21 cases in total, and although it’s not much, it may be enough for many cards that are close to evolving. And speaking of luck, I took advantage of my fiancée being at home and asked her to open all the cards, after all her luck has always been much better than mine 😅. And as expected, it was a great result!
The main highlights are the several Gold Foil cards and Fina Voxom, which I consider one of the best cards in the game (I already got Towershead lvl 3, so I’m no longer coveting more copies of her 😂). With everything acquired, I managed to make the following evolutions:
- Orella Abadon from level 4 to 5, acquiring the True Strike
ability.
- Palidon Park from level 4 to 5, acquiring +1 Health.
- Helmet Kharafax from level 5 to 6, acquiring +1 Speed and getting closer to the goal of level 7, where it will acquire the Magic Reflect
ability.
- Captain Katie from level 4 to 5, acquiring +1 Health.
- Kotriphus Bayne from level 4 to 5, acquiring the Retaliate
ability.
Besides these cards that I effectively upgraded, the Fina Voxom copy was the first step to level 3, and now I need two more copies to acquire the Stun 
ability for this card. Admit that this combo of abilities and stats in a card is every player’s dream.
It only lacks +1 Attack to be combined with Yodin Zaku and wreak havoc on the enemy team, but nothing that adding a Ferexia General doesn’t solve, being two cards capable of destroying opponents with their powerful attacks.
I was very happy with the results of these cases and decided to celebrate by acquiring 5 Legendary Draws to try my luck with the evolution of some legendary card, but since this time I was the one who opened them, luck was against me. Literally all the cards obtained are already at level 3, which is currently the cap I use, so all these copies are useless (until they are released for sale at some point).
But that’s okay, at the end of the day the result was very positive and I was happy with all the cards obtained. Little by little my collection is getting bulkier and reaching the levels I use, increasingly improving my possibilities within Splinterlands.

Após farmar muitos Glints ao longo da última temporada no Splinterlands e abrir vários baús para fazer o "farm infinito" conforme explicado no meu último post, chegou a hora de gastarmos todos os Méritos acumulados para evoluir as cartas Gladius e tentar melhorar meu desempenho nas Brawls.
Eu consegui comprar 21 cases ao todo e apesar de não ser muito, pode ser o necessário para muitas cartas que estão próximas de evoluir. E falando em sorte, aproveitei que minha noiva está em casa e pedi para ela abrir todas as cartas, afinal a sorte dela sempre foi muito maior que a minha 😅. E como previsto, foi um ótimo resultado!
Os principais destaques são as várias cartas Gold Foil e a Fina Voxom que eu considero uma das melhores cartas do jogo (já consegui a Towershead lvl 3, então não estou mais cobiçando mais cópias dela 😂). Com tudo que foi adquirido, consegui fazer as seguintes evoluções:
- Orella Abadon do level 4 para o 5, adquirindo a habilidade True Strike .
- Palidon Park do level 4 para o 5, adquirindo +1 de Vida.
- Helmet Kharafax do level 5 para o 6, adquirindo +1 de Velocidade e ficando mais próximo da meta que é o level 7, onde ele adquirirá a habilidade Magic Reflect .
- Captain Katie do level 4 para o 5, adquirindo +1 de Vida.
- Kotriphus Bayne do level 4 para o 5, adquirindo a habilidade Retaliate .
Além dessas cartas que consegui efetivamente upar, a cópia Fina Voxom foi o primeiro passo para o level 3 e agora faltam mais duas cópias para adquirir a habilidade Stun para essa carta. Admita que esse combo de habilidades e estatísticas em uma carta é o sonho de consumo de qualquer jogador.
Faltou apenas ter +1 de Ataque para ser combada com o Yodin Zaku e fazer um grande estrago no time inimigo, mas nada que a adição de um Ferexia General não resolva, sendo duas cartas capazes de destruir os oponentes com seus ataques potentes.
Fiquei bem feliz com os resultados dessas cases e resolvi comemorar adquirindo 5 Legendary Draws para tentar a sorte com a evolução de alguma carta lendária, mas como desta vez fui eu que abri a sorte ficou contra mim. Literalmente todas as cartas ganhas já estão no level 3 que atualmente é o cap que eu utilizo, portanto todas essas cópias são inúteis (até que em algum momento sejam liberadas para venda).
Mas tudo bem, no final do dia o resultado foi bem positivo e fiquei feliz com todas as cartas adquiridas. Pouco a pouco minha coleção está ficando encorpada e atingindo os leveis que eu utilizo, melhorando cada vez mais minhas possibilidades dentro do Splinterlands.
