My 96th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 2/3 Weekly Goals Exceeded, New Assets in Play, and the Question of DHEDGE - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, March 31, 2024

Welcome to my 96th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! Even with some notable recent hits to my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine, and my payouts from posts dropping dramatically, I did pretty well this week, with reasonable growth, and 2/3 weekly goals exceeded. I also have some new assets in the mix, that I'll mention shortly.

I feel like I'm flying by the seat of my invisible lately with so many decelopers going MIA, projects failing or being abandoned, and infrastructure not working. Things are a little rough on the Hive ship as of late, however I'll just keep leveraging assets the best I'm able under the ever-changing conditions on Hive.

I powered up 17.9 HIVE today for the April 1st HPUD, which I described in my April 1st HPUD - Hive Power Up Day - 17.9 HIVE Powered Up Today! post. Soon, after growing some of my new assets a bit more, I should be able to do much larger HPUD powerups, and consistently. It's all about leverage.

This week I gained +47.835 HP, +0.02 Reputation, and +5.65 HBD in Savings, which means that I surpassed my HP goal by +10.11 HP, that I was under my Reputation goal by -0.02 Reputation, and that I exceeded my goal for HBD in Savings by +0.733 HBD. I'm rather surprised how much HP that I gained this week, especially considering that my post payouts have dropped quite dramatically since Ecency discontinued post boosting, even with my powerup today of 17.9 HIVE for HPUD. HBD In Savings got a nice boost to me claiming 4.207 HBD in interest three days ago. Reputation definitely lagged behind this week, with me only getting half way to my goal. Oh well, it's still growing every week, even if more slowly at times.

I rose +6 places in my HiveBuzz Reputation ranking (which was the smallest jump in quite a while), +19 places in my HP ranking (this the first time in ages since HP has risen more than Reputation), and I unfortunately dropped -2 places in my ranking for HBD in Savings, even though my holding increased by 5.65 HBD. Very curious stuff indeed.

It's unfortunately looking like the ARCHON/DHEDGE project may be dead, with no activity on @taskmanager's profile since February 24th, and all ARCHON/DHEDGE services down for their longest downtime so far since I've been keeping track of it. This is very disheartening, because I've loved and supported this project pretty much as soon as I arrived on the Blockchain, and because I'm heavily invested in it. I don't want to jump the gun, or to abandon a beloved project, but I may be devesting myself of all ARCHON/DHEDGE assets soon. This is another major hit to my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine, right after the LOLZ team suspended LOLZ payouts for several layer-2 tokens, all of which I had large amounts delegated. As always, I adapt, and flow with the changes that come, reallocating my assets the best I can.

One bit of exciting news is that I received 18.2 LTC (as SWAP.LTC) from a friend of mine to whom I gave some crypto-investing suggestions a few years ago, as a 'thank you' gift. Bryan, the fellow that I helped, made his money back quickly, and then made a good profit, so he wanted to share some of that profit with me, which was a wonderful unexpected surprise. I was originally intending to wait until the HIVE price of LTC rose more, then sell it for SWAP.HIVE, to then convert to HIVE to power up, and to HBD to put into Savings. Today I realized that I could easily grow this initial seed deposit to far exceed what I had originally received. I'll be focusing on trading (on @tydyn.rain, to keep the assets separate) SWAP.HIVE between LTC, BTC, and DOGE mostly, and in so doing, over time, I'll be able to grow these trading assets to such a degree that I would be able to fuel much faster layer-1 growth with my HP and HBD in Savings. I've become quite good at leveraging assets to generate greater growth, so I'm excited to see what I can do with such substantial initial assets.

I'm finding that I need to be slightly more conservative with my HP goals now, due to my post payouts being quite a bit less now, though it is still growing fairly quickly. Reputation has always been a challenging one for which to make goals, as it's so unpredictable, but here too, I've had to learn to be a tad bit more conservative. Of the lot, HBD in Savings is the most consistent, and the easiest to predict, so making goals for it is easier too. Let's see how I do this week!
