I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #728 - Work Only with Systems that You Own and Control! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Thursday, July 25, 2024

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

One of the first superlatively important lessons of sovereignty that I finally learned well, after years of trial and error, is this: to only work with systems that I myself control. Those are the only ones that I actually trust, and for very good reason. If we don't control the systems that we use, relying instead on systems created and maintained by corporations and governments, it is a given that they can be, and usually are, being used against us. This isn't paranoia, this is verifiable fact.

Hive falls squarely in the self-controlled category, of course, because we own our keys, and therefor our assets, in an open-source, decentralized, community-based, sovereignty-driven, Blockchain Ecosystem. That's hugely significant, and exactly why I'm not only here, but why I'm so tenaciously commited and dedicated, and so passionately all-in for the long haul, here. This is also true for the the other 3 sovereignty-driven social blockchains where I'm active, Qortal, Deso, and Bastyon.

This principle of only using systems that I control is applied to as many areas of technology and life as possible. It's why I use Arch Linux on my laptop, and not Windows or MacOS, as I have complete dominion over every aspect of my computer, which is exactly as it should be. This is also part of why I live off-grid in an intentional community in the jungle, where we produce our own electricity, water, and a fair portion of our own food.

Many people learn this lesson of the huge importance of working only with systems that they control the hard way, sometimes through the loss of crypto assets on centralized exchanges, or the failure of necessary resources like electricity, food, and water, for extended periods of time. If we depend on governments or corporations to provide and manage such resources and technologies for us, we are in a very precarious and dangerous place indeed, because what we don't control ourselves can and will be used to control us. Take control and responsibility for yourself, your technology, and your resources, now, while you still have the option and opportunity.

Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after wrapping up my Hive (and a few other online) tasks, just a little after 3PM, later than usual. I strained out and blended kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) first, as I usually do. It was mostly cloudy yesterday, so I only got a few photos taken for these posts. I didn't have a huge motivation to do land work yesterday, though I did at least spread another three wheelbarrow loads of partially-decayed, mixed-wood mulch on the new planting beds on both sides of the trail going up to the Flow House. That felt satisfying. After working, I took a shower, collected my leftover jar of superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, then I made my way back to the Flow House, to dive into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had quite a lot of notifications again, and as such I was not able to get fully caught up before making myself go to bed just about 1AM, still 3 hours behind. I woke up just before 8:15AM, still feeling like I needed more sleep, doing a round of token management, beginning on this post, and then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee just a bit after 9:45AM.

Its now just after 1:30PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I can get to a few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first strain out and blend kefir, perhaps take more photos for these posts (I took several great ones earlier, in the lovely morning sun), and then land work. 2024 Life Goals

1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do. 

2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness. 

3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others. 

4.) Dance regularly again.

5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again. 

 6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.

7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again. 

8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.

9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships. 

10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice. 

11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
