What a gift it would be... Part 2
Day-2 of me doing the Christmas silver wish list thingie initiative, first started by @silverd510. As a quick reminder, the goal is to post for 12 consecutive days, 12 silver pieces that I would love to be gifted for Christmas.
Moving on...
With a price tag of about 500$, yesterday's piece was a bit on the expensive side..Today we have something a bit more affordable, yet still expensive considering it's just a 1 oz piece.
So, today's piece features the one and only... Optimus Prime! With the original design all 80/90s kids grew with. Not the modern Michael Bay crap 🤮
Lmao, queen Eli on the same coin with Optimus Prime is just so fucking cringy 😂 But hey, it's technically legal tender worth of 2$ so I guess her old face is mandatory.
The first issue of the new Transformers series is dedicated to the heroic leader Optimus Prime. The design features the Transformers leader in color, as seen in the 1984 series "The Transformers". Also included in the design is the official Transformers logo and the year "1984". The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and year of issue. source

These bad boys are issued by the New Zealand mint and they are out of stock in all big eshops I checked.
On eBay and other auctions sites, each piece goes for about 150$. That's a hefty premium but I guess it makes sense considering the popularity of the franchise. I guess it's a must item for silver stackers that are due hard transformers fans.
Anyways... That concludes today's item! See you tomorrow with another cool piece that I'd love to have..but I am definitely not paying for lmao 😆😂
