High School....

My one-time brag was taking third position in a race even with being chubby.

It was a run of three out of three…hahaha😂(I never say this last part tho).

It's been five years since high school. Oh right, some oldies right now would like “just five years”? I trust my countryman in saying such…lol

You know, I was told one time that the best part of education was during high school days. Over here is often called secondary school (all the same). Then, I could recall how my classmates and I would count the years and classes as each session came so much in haste to leave high school, just so we would be off uniforms and proceed to higher levels but now in a way feel the weight of that statement.

High school was pretty fun, although it wasn't at the beginning, not at all, especially the period when my classmates nicknamed me “rat voice” because of how tiny my voice was or how I was tagged “buns” because of how chubby I looked….lol

Thankfully, it was a full boarding school where skipping meals and giving myself numerous work helped kill the “buns” tag off me, left with just one less problem (rat voice) which didn't even last long since having both the head boy and girl as school dad and mom did me good and shunned everyone's mouth..haha 😂
Sure right, me too got a school dad and Mom..oh wait, I mean school family in general. We were called “The Cake Family”..haha

I was never the one to experience bully, not more than that silly teasing from classmates. So about the grade,
Well in academics.. I wasn't the toppest in class and not the least.
It was more on a little higher than average or we just settle at average.

Since am not at the top it took lots of reading to pass exams.. That's by the way.

Down to skills, oh yeah!
Having a natural interest in being creative landed me my first skill (hairstylist) which I learned through my baby dolls long before high school, was very useful while at boarding school and of course made me a little popular since most girls would want their hair fixed and pretty and am sure to deliver..haha that was then sha.

Looking back, I wouldn't say I miss high school days even though I think it's the best part of education.. Maybe I might as the years come by. Until then, I'll continue feeling just normal while talking about it.
