Seasonal Collection Power with New Soulbound Reward Cards

Introduction

Below are my rewards from daily chests earned during current Season 104 in Splinterlands.

In this post, I'll focus entirely on Soulbound Reward Cards and Collection Power.

For now, I've acquired 10 Diamond chests and 53 Gold chests resulting in:

Common Soulbound Reward cards: 31 total BCX
-8 x Imperial Knight
-7 x Coastal Sentry
-6 x Swamp Spitter
-4 x Possessed Puppet
-3 x Dumacke Orc
-1 x Gold Foil Ferox Defender
-1 x Terraceous Grunt
-1 x Drybone Barbarian

Rare Soulbound Reward Cards: 38 total BCX
-17 x Riverboat Captain
-12 x Pyrewatch Devil
-6 x Helios Matriarch
-2 x Lobb Lowland
-1 x Eternan Brune

Still zero new Epics and Legendary Soulbound Reward cards.

All of the above cards provide 1035 Collection Power.

Analyzing the last 5 Seasons

During the last 5 seasons, I've opened 376 Diamond chests and 301 Gold chests and received Reward cards with total Collection Power of 6840. That means that per season I average 75 Diamond chests, 60 Gold chests, and 1368 Collection Power.

Conclusion

Taking the above stated into account, that means that from now till the end of the Season, I'm going to open additional 65 Diamond chests and 7 Gold chests which - according to my assumptions - are going to provide me additional 1500-2500 Collection Power.

If my assumptions are correct that means that I should be able to receive anywhere from 2500 to 4000 Collection Power per Season, which is 2 to almost 3 times more Collection power than with the old Reward card system.

Biggest Question that comes to mind is will this new increase in Collection Power coupled with future player SPS staking requirements further devalue old Reward cards?
