The old man says that the longer he lives, the more he realises that nothing in the world is more important than living in the present. Money, fame, and power are nothing without a good life. But it was hard to get a good life without money; there is no such thing as love to pay " things" like food. (How I wish that kind of currency existed.) Not everyone can have fame and power. Those who really want it will have a chance to experience it in life, but not everyone will get it because there will always be someone who has more fame and power than you. Life is not perfect without good health; you should feel grateful to have it because someone somewhere was praying for it. Lastly, the adventure of life makes your life much more meaningful. Live life to the fullest, because we only live once.
