A day in Fathers' Day

I want to wish Happy Father's Day to every Father in the world .

I believe you have done the hard job of raising the family so they'll have food at the table every day and provide safety for the family, and today, on Father's Day, just be proud and take a bow because, whoever you are, wherever you are, you are the awesome father in the world.

A DAY IN FATHER's DAY

I'm not yet a father, but I just started building a family with my beloved wife. This is the first she celebrating the Father's day for me :p.

We started the day by going to church together. We haven't gone to church together in a long time because we are both quite busy with our careers. I'm not sure how many times we went to church together after we married, but I'm glad we had this opportunity to spend Father's Day with other church members.

We walked to Gaya Street for a joy walk after the church . I usually go to Gaya Street Market by myself for street photography.Thanks to God, we have the opportunity to walk together and have fun watching other people walk around at that market. She bought me new slippers because I broke one of mine.

We ate Ba Kut Teh for lunch, but too bad our favourite restaurant was closed in the afternoon, so we went to the only available restaurant, which I can rate only 2.5 stars. The food is actually good, but we can't help but compare it to our favourite place. Again, she made the payment.

It was a very hot day. We went to Wisma Merdeka, one of the nearby malls, to get some air conditioning and spend some time watching what was new in that mall. I guess it was still the same as before; not much has changed, but still, some shops have not survived since previous COVID. We went to some local bookstores and spent some time enjoying reading and finding some information about my place there. After spending some time there, we walk about 5 minutes to go to another mall, SURIA SABAH. We went window shopping at one of the popular computer stores at that place and just chitchatted about some of our bucket list items.

The next place we went was NINSO. I think I wrote about this budget place in my previous post. We bought some boxes to put and arrange some of our stuff at home. I end up buying some junk food because it just looks delicious. (Usually she will be angry with me if I buy junk food, but today I guess she has a good mood for me on Father's Day.)

It's 4.30 p.m., so after we went home, I said that I would go for a quick jog at the nearest park. Surprisingly, she asked to join me (she hates jogging, but I always wondered why she was skinny).. I'm actually happy because I've asked her to join me a lot. Today, we went there together and had a quick walk. It was rare that we found @gideongys also having a quick jog at the same park. We end up jogging around the park together with some chitchat.

After finishing the last round, we went to Likas Square to see the sports shoe, but we ended up having dinner at Hi Seoul, one of the most popular Korean restaurants in town. I guess she was craving bibimbap. Again, she also pays for the food.

It feels so refreshing because it has been a while since we didn't just walk like before we married. The day looked normal, but the memory of this Father's Day will always remind me that she will always be there when I'm down or losing. I believe all fathers or husbands will agree with me. Thanks to her, I had an awesome day today.
