The One "Problem" HIVE Faces: Possible Solutions

(Edited)

HIVE blog is clearly one of the best crypto and blockchain projects we have in the space. This is so because, it has amazing and robust use cases; a very strong and committed community. Also, it brings several earning opportunities to users. More so, Hive brings to the world, a revolutionized and a better social media platform in the sense that, it has a reward system for every user.

Equally, there's no censorship on the platform as users have the freedom of speech and expression. Most importantly, HIVE is highly decentralized therefore, achieving one of goals of blockchain technology. With all these in consideration, it won't be wrong calling Hive blog a Web3 platform.

Hive continues to grow in all aspects both in project development and price valuation. Tangible and laudable developments, growth and building has been taking place on the Hive ecosystem ever since its inception. HIVE blog has grown from just being a blogging site to a center of blockchain applications.

Almost all the sectors in the cryptocurrency space can be found in this one platform alone. HIVE incorporates content creation, DeFi, NFTs and even play-to-earn. Interestingly, projects can be built on HIVE which is why it has a host of many second-layer projects. In terms of tech, Hive can be likened to Ethereum excluding the associated fees though.

In turn, this has resulted in a continuous increase of users. Speaking of price, HIVE recently clocked an all-time high price of $3+. However, there's still a problem Hive seems to be facing. Should this problem be solved then Hive will outperform many other projects because it has a variety of more appreciated and needed use cases. Hive clearly needs more adoption.

The HIVE Problem

One could be wondering what problem Hive could possibly have. But it's not just a problem, it is an hindrance to HIVE. This problem is quite similar to the problem with EOS.

Without much ado, I think that HIVE has a brand awareness problem. Some may call it, a publicity or marketing deficiency problem.

This is the same challenge with EOS and it has been an hindrance to the growth of the project. EOS is one of the best projects out there but has a poor marketing hence, it's not being appreciated as it should be. Speak of transaction speed, scalability, moderate fees, EOS has the solution. Still the project isn't blossoming.

Far be it that this be said of Hive, which is why we need to tackle this problem as early and fast as possible. HIVE has all it takes to be in the portfolios of many cryptocurrency investors because it has a solid and evergreen project. Hive blog equally has what it takes to be adopted and used by millions of people.

There's never a time that Hive can ever be outdated or not needed because this is social media and there'll always be need for social media. What Hive needs the most now is a wide publicity and marketing; people need to know that a better platform has HIVE exists. When this is done, increase in adoption and market capitalization will be seen resulting in more all-time high prices.

Possible Solutions

It is one thing to state the problem but problem solving is what is mostly appreciated.

Hive is a highly decentralized platform such that it has no one face representing it. Meaning that, every user owns a portion of the platform depending on your contributions to the platform and your stake in some ways. In essence, the responsibility of promoting and creating awareness of the brand is for every user because we are all joint owners of HIVE. If we do not market what we own then no one will adopt.

How can you promote HIVE?

Individual Approach
There are many ways to promote and advertise the project depending on your preference and accessibility. Hive can be promoted both through offline and online means. Let a day not pass by that you don't say a word about Hive to someone. On your web2 platforms, post about Hive and help onboard the web2 users to the web3. If every user does this then the outcome will be very massive.

A Community Approach

Airdrop Campaigns
IMO, I think if an airdrop is being organized for new users only, we may just see thousands of people flocking into Hive. While some may leave after getting airdropped, some may remain. That will clearly be a plus for Hive.

Hosting Competitions for the Web2 Audience
In the same vein, the aim is to employ whatever means to draw the web2 over here. So, I still think that, if competitions (of any sort) are being organized exclusively for non-existing users and of course with some incentives, we may get the attention of a lot of persons.

Marketing Fund Proposal
Marketing and creating qualitative brand awareness clearly requires funds. Still thoughts though, Hive witnesses could come up with a joint marketing fund proposal and then these funds can be extracted from Hive's treasury or via contributions from users to carry out some lasting marketing schemes.

On the whole, these are just my own suggestions and thoughts; we all could be thinking very differently. On a wider note, this is a call for the community to brainstorm on the possible and better ways to tackle this Hive problem.

Do well drop your contributions.

One of the best methods of advertising Hive is to share quality posts and existing competitions on traditional social media?❤️💕❤️

A question or an affirmation?

Both, I suppose. Should I advertise competitions I enter on Twitter (not my competitions, those run by others)
