The Thinning | The Tyranny After An Apocalypse (Movie Review)

I finally came across this movie The Thinning today on tiktok, apparently someone posted some scene of the movie on their page and it seems interesting to me so I had to first check out the comment if someone actually dropped the movie title and when I saw it, I had to search my Hdo app since it contain any kind of movies I can look for, apparently, picking the right one was somehow confusing since they tag it with the production year and I picked the first which was in 2016 and the second in 2018 and I think there should be a finally part which I was not able to locate yet even though some news online said it will be released in 2021 or 2022 but I think that news is false since there is no new release at all.
The news look quite interesting since i have watch some apocalypse movies from way back and I have seen how most of it happened and even end just like the 100 seasonal movies, Apocalypse is when something drastic happen which lead to the destruction of the world (earth) and there are few people who fight their way to survival and the funniest part is things aren't the same again and they most times do some unimaginable things just to keep the surviving circle running. In this movie, It is somehow different, They conduct annual test for all children right from the first grade class to the teens and anyone that doesn't pass the test will be send to the thinning room which suppose to be the elimination room, so every year certain amount of people got purge out from the community. Things change when the Governor son's gf got purge with the rest, he called his dad to do something but he couldn't, the son got vexed and decided to end it all in the next test.
He left a video confession saying he will fill in wrong answers and get eliminated thereby allowing the system his dad support kill him, his dad find out during the test and decided to replace him with someone else own, a lady who is one of the brilliant one, the drama was so shocking because the guy really went against the whole system, safe the girl and both of them leak out the truth, Since the governor was contesting for the presidential position, he twist everything and decided to make it right, he release the student who they change their result and replace them with the original student that failed, the got induced with the elimination drug but that wasn't the end, they were all transported to an underground facility where all the previous eliminated people were use in making some kind of production to sustain the whole system.

It was like inviting devil from the pit of hell, bringing in the governor son to the underworld was a great trouble especially when he figured out where he is and finding out this gf wasn't dead all this years, after lot of sufferings, he alliance with others and they cause some kind of chaos so as to find their way out and luckily for them, liana was also figuring out some ways and she also find out about the underworld. Things wasn't easy but did they find out ways to rescue those sent to the underground is what we are yet to find out in the next part.
