It’s been awhile since I last posted about the Rising Star Game here on the Hive Blockchain. There has been a lot of stuff going on in game since the release of Raves to the game. I am finding the Raves feature to be an interesting add-on to the game, and it is mildly rewarding, but then I only have a few (thousand) fans in FA cards to use for Raves.
I’ve been playing Rising Star for close to two years now, and my progress is beginning to pick up speed. It took over a year for me to crack the Top 100 on the Leaderboard, and several more months before I got high enough to make it into the Leaderboard Reward pool. I’ve also seen over the last few months, the number of Fans I have from NFTs rise from a few hundred thousand to close to 1.2 million fans from NFTs.
Now, if you have read this far, and thanks for doing so, I want to touch on something fun related to RSG and music. For anyone who knows me, I am not a working musician, just a hobbyist who sometimes dabbles with my guitars and drums (Djembe and Dumbek) I have here at the house, emphasis on dabble. However, I so have friends who are serious musicians, and some play some very interesting and unusual instruments. The Rising Star Game features a number of such unusual instruments, and I thought I would write about one of them: The Didgeridoo.
If you are interested in learning more about the instrument, there is a video on youtube that someone made some years back featuring a long time friend of mine from my San Diego days, Mitchell Walker. The video was made by Mariano Lorde, however, I have no idea where to find the original video, but several users on youtube have it loaded. You can check it at www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhP1zPL7Dko. You can also find Mitchell’s music on Spotify. You can also find out more about Mitchell at his website – https://didjetellus.com/.
That’s about it for this time around. Thanks for stopping by.

Lmao this game is really fun! I am a busker in Rising Star 🌟
yeah, it's a fun game. It's fairly passive, which is nice, unlike some other games I won't name. Better still - No Bots!
Did you try to get your musician friends to play the game and maybe even mint some NFTs of their music?
most of them are not crazy like me. Mitchell does not do a lot of online stuff to begin with, unfortunately. He doesn't have interest in crypto. I do have a few friends that game, but none are willing to dive into this. I'll try and generate interest at MarsCon, which host a dunny music program, ala doctor Demento (who has been there a few times). The FuMP, as it is known, is a pretty popular track. I may be able to generate interest via the independent music you are helping to promote. Here's an intro to The FuMP - it is a hoot to watch -
