Evaluation Time

So now that you've been a Listnerds member for some days or in my case, about two weeks, let's spend some time evaluating your results, shall we? I'm going to point out some stuff that I think is important as well as share with you a few milestones that I've reached myself. I'd like to hear from you what your experience was as well if you like to share it in a comment.

Daily Login

I've logged in every single day since I started on Listnerds. I made it a part of my wake up routine when I'm starting up my online pages to start working. I go to Listnerds.com, click on inbox, and see if there are new emails waiting for me. The past days, there has been a nice increase of daily emails and this meant I was finally able to tick off the 10 daily emails box:

I spoke to @blainjones and he mentioned that he was testing some sending features and there would be more mails going out as well as openings would probably increase. All good stuff what they've been working on!

I would like to know how many of my team members have made it a habit to log in daily as well? I won't tag you here, but this is a reminder for you to go and do so because it's getting quite fun now that we are receiving more emails as well. Make sure you are an active early member, and not missing out on the sweet rewards now we aren't sharing them with a lot more people. I bet soon more will arrive and that means sharing rewards!

Mailing milestone

After sending out 3 emails, the third email that I sent out yesterday finally hit the magical 20 votes number, meaning it will be verified by the blockchain and start earning Listnerds tokens. Funnily enough, I was trying to send this email to about 1000 more members, but for some reason, it only was sent to 817, which made me ask @blainjones what happened. He mentioned the testing part but also that it should increase openings and hopefully clicks.

I was very pleased to see the openings and clicks go up a lot higher than the other 2 emails that will probably not reach the 20 votes needed to be verified and earn Listnerds. Too bad for these two, but on the other hand, we didn't really start earning many hives from our first post either, did we? We needed to practice and work on our content creation skills a bit first.

Although my email also got 2 downvotes, I'm still very curious to see how much it will earn from the reward pool once it's visibly verified. But that's for next week, until then, I will keep practising sending out those emails and getting better results. So far, I'm happy as this didn't take too long to achieve enough votes. Going to aim for better results in each email!

Great community

Something that I can't forget to add to this recap post is that I'm super thankful for the help I've received so far whenever I asked questions in the Listnerds Discord, or in DM. Everyone has been very helpful so far and took the time to answer me even when I didn't understand something right away. I'm curious by nature and want to understand things completely when I'm interested in them. I also love seeing @jongolson and other Listnerds members pop up in my posts, even when they're not Listnerds related! Listnerds is defo adding a good bit of engagement on our Hive accounts!

Sometimes, I misunderstood something and when that happens, I'm very grateful that someone actually takes the time to point this out to me. Thank you @mba2020 for your comment where you pointed out something I misunderstood about the enterprise membership! I will mention it here, as well as correct it in the post(s) where I wrote about this.

This is what I call community spirit, if someone takes the time to point this out even though it's not his own content, he thinks about the bigger picture, not solely his own content. I love that and I sent you a small tip as a token of appreciation.

Extra passive income

From staking my Listnerds, I currently receive a few Hive worth of passive income every single day! I think that's a very nice return and it makes me very motivated to add more to the stake to get even more rewards. After all, I'm really looking to build several passive income stream sources this year and Listnerds is giving us a great opportunity to do so.

Hive Punk Giveaway

Conclusion

After a small two weeks, I'm seeing the potential of earning no Listnerds clearer by the day. Even if you aren't really interested in sending out emails yourself, the staking rewards alone are worth checking Listnerds out.

The fun part is that if you are interested in sending out your own emails, there's so much to learn if you're a newbie which I personally enjoy a lot, learning new skills. If you're like me, you might be surprised about how interesting the email marketing actually is. It can be used to promote the product you're trying to sell in many ways. And if you don't have a "product" to sell, you can use it to promote your content on Hive.

In the next week, I will try to write more guides and pick up where I left last week to share my experiences with you and make sure your start on Listnerds will be smooth.

I hope to see more new "faces" appear in the mails in the next weeks, so far it has been an absolute pleasure connecting with you all!

I haven't really sent out any mail yet and I woke up to a surprise. It does look like getting verified might be an issue though so I guess it can at least give you some more exposure.

Oh what kind of surprise?
I think the changes that have been made since yesterday will help getting verified though, my 3rd email was 1/2 and even 1/3 mails compared to the other 2 that I sent out, and now 20+ votest after not even one day.

Or do you mean verified as in connecting your Hive account?

I have noticed that they made some changes so we are getting a lot more mail as a free users. Before I couldn't even get 6 mail a day or so but I am getting over 10 now.

Out of curiosity, are you paying for one of the "pro" tiers? I'm really curious if ListNerds is something that could start off at the free level before leverage the earnings to purchase a monthly level and work my way up from there.

Seems like everyone who is experiencing success has paid for a tier. Would love to get the perspective of someone who hasn't, yet, if possible :P

I haven't shared that yet as I want to share my experiences after I've used it for (preferably) a month bus since you asked, I will answer here anyway. I was in doubt if I was going to check everything out with the free membership first, or take a little gamble and see if the upgraded ones would be a better option. Now, as I'm the person that loves to unlock some extra options (like emailing every 3 days) I decided to pay for premium. Meaning I paid 27 bucks and can now email every 3 days.

I did check the higher memberships too but I didn't think this was a smart move when still learning as I wanted to get familiar with the emailing first by doing it. Every 3 days give me some more options, and some time to think about what I will email. On top of that, I get 25 MAIL per click which is a nice bonus, especially considering the better results since my 3rd mail from yesterday.

I do believe it's possible to work your way up earning by staking first though. I have also done this myself on Steemit and Hive, from scratch without a stake. It will just take longer, but if you manage to write awesome emails that get picked up 1x a week, you could be doing very well with those too.

Of course, you're welcome. I wanted to try this out myself anyway, so I might as well share it with others to do things better from the first moment :) But things are looking much better now that something changed in the mailing system!

ListNerds is going to be huge. The team seems committed to bring new features and updates to the project. This is vital long term.

I can see this being a massive success throughout the rest of the year. It will only take one big time player to find it and it is off to the races.

My belief is Jon and Blain will find that person.

Very nice it does seem like some improvements have been made on the mail delivery end as of the last few days which is really bumping up my confidence in the platform. Keep crushing it!

I hope my comment didn't come off as negative. I like the ability to upvote the emails that I find useful. I plan to use @listnerds in the future for promotions. I am learning a good bit. I will use the subject line as a summary line of my email content. I'm not sure that will be the best way, but I think it will filter people to me that are most interested in what I want to communicate. One of the many good things about Listnerds is that it is set up so that the receiver can respond in a way that gives me data for the next email. You are correct about finding plenty of more on other topics. @fiberfrau email in listnerds with the link to her Etsy shop was very useful and I want to find more Hivers that handcraft products for me to buy.

I still have to figure out how to get the best titles out with just a few characters available. Today's email, I had to re-write it 5 times to be able to send it out. :) So I can't advise you there. Just give it a try and with trial and error, you'll find your way.

And agree with your Etsy shop @fiberfrau, I didn't get to that yet, but I was going to let you know that I loved you sharing that. It also shows that we can use Listnerds for so many different things. I love seeing these different approaches. Email marketing is truly going to get such a nice influx of fresh ideas this way!

Thank you so much for the tip as it was an unexpected surprise. Listnerds is great and gets better every day.
If people want to earn more daily ListNerd tokens it is important that they vote on every email they open. Either up or down it does not matter. In doing so the member becomes eligible for a share of the Listnerds reward pool in relation to how many ListNerds tokens they have staked.
Emails that do not have a link or have a broken link need to be reported :-D

I signed up for enterprise this month and it's a little stressful trying to "re-earn" enough to cover the expense. Enterprise does not make it easier to get mail verified, I already have many that never got verified - some legitamately because of bad links or repeat content, but others that just didn't make the cut. It doesn't even seem to be quality, since some unverified posts are of higher quality, others are verified because... shrug? I know it's not random, but I haven't figured it out yet.

I'm not sure I'll sign up for Enterprise again, it depends how this month finishes out and I do some accounting.
