What I Love About Splinterlands - Nate Aguila...A Splinterlands' Snippet
Greetings, Splinterlands!
Here's a wonderful snippet from our wonderful conversation with Nate Aguila, Splinterlands' VP of Creative.
He talks about the passionate community that has evolved as a consequence of Splinterlands and how important it is for the continued growth of the game.
'Together We Rise' is a term he uses, and he uses it with the word 'we'. We, as a community, players, content creators, the devs, content creators, and anyone associated with the game, rising together.
Nate continues by saying that by the community rising together, it has helped to create this vision of what gaming should be and the reason for Splinterlands' success.
People talk about Splinterlands one day going to the moon, but Nate articulates it very well, and says that the community are the 'rocket fuel'.
I agree with Nate that the game wouldn't be the game it is without the community. The Encyclopedia of the Splinterlands is testament to this!
Where would Splinterlands be without this rocket fuel is a great question. But, we should never forget that rocket fuel is useless without a rocket and the people needed to fly that baby, the Splinterlands' team.
The team are so instrumental to the game's success, and it's because of them why we here at the People's Guild are still here. And I hazard a guess, why a lot of you are here now, and those that have even been here from the beginning, trust!
It's a collaborative effort for sure, and it is so refreshing to hear Nate, one of the big cheeses of Splinterlands, acknowledging this.
What a guy! This one is a must listen for sure!
