Random Post For The Day: Cultivating Our Simple Garden and Exploring to The Mountain

As the rain finally happens here in our place, it is good to plant more vegetables in the Garden. My Husband's place is very spacious, and there are lots of place were we can plant valuable crops and vegetables. Yesterday, Me and my Husband were decided culturing our simple garden again, and I felt very happy when I seen those vegetables we have at the place. Lemon Grass is very popular and important here, some people especially those vegetable vendors came by just to asked of Lemon-Grass. The price per kilo of this plant reach up to 50 Pesos. This is a good and satisfied price for us here. Last time, we sold 2 bunches of lemon grass at a total of 400 Pesos, a good kind of business and family source of income. As for that, we decided to plant more of it here in our Simple Garden. Planting lemon grass is very easy to propagate, just cut the leaves, dug a big hole and the right depth and plant it. Lemon-Grass produced leaves within a week and stabled within 2 weeks. After that, my husband pulverized the soil and He add an organic fertilizer no other than, Cow's dung. Well, sound to funny but this kind of thing is good for fertilizer for the plants.

Next is the Malunggay plants. In the Market, this kind of vegetables costs up to 10 Pesos per tied that is why we planned to plant more of it here, it will lessen the family expenses and if there are more of it, we can also sell to the Market. We also cultivated and removed those wild grass so that the plants will grows healthy. By planting malunggay vegetables, it is better to plant seeds rather than stems because the roots will goes down from the ground and cannot be easily leaning .

This are some of my vegetables, Okra and Saluyot vegetables. It is good and perfect for fish soup and it is delicious and nutritious. This are very common here but also a good kind of business, it can sell to the market. This plants is also needs to pulverized and fertilized so that it will grows fast and healthy. It needs to water also 3 times a week and the soil must be cultivated so that the roots will become expanded and stabled its growth. We also removed those wild grass grows in the place to make the place even more attractive. Our Okra vegetables also grows very healthy because of the fertile soil we added, we make an organic fertilizer out of dried leaves also and we added it in the vegetables.

Last day, we planted Alugbati ang Kamote Taps tubers in the garden. This kind of vegetables grows very fast as long as the place is cultivated and the soil always pulverized and watered. As I check the vegetables I planted last day, there are young leaves grows already. As I checked the plots, it needs to watered every 3 times a week.

We started to plant string beans vegetables again and luckily there are already few string beans vegetables grows in the place. We will put a bamboo frame by next day so that the vines of this plants can crawl and produces more beans.

A Mountain Hiking Adventure:

After a few hours of Gardening, we take a rest for a minute and decided to went to the mountain just to search and find some fruits at the place. It takes a few minutes of walking to the slope areas at the mountain watching those big trees and birds flying around. A kind of very tired walking adventure but it was very fun.

First, we came from this place were full of pineapple plants can be seen and found. We started to looked for any ripe pineapple fruits and gladly we got one. Some of the fruits are not yet ready to picked and it needs to wait for a few days before harvesting.

Next, we went to the other place of the mountain to picked this kind of fruits called, Lomboy. I really love to eat this and it taste sweet I kept the seeds so that I can plant it on our Farm land in Mount Talabaan.
