Life in the Hive: My Quest for Power

I came to love creating content on Hive. Being a creator myself, I also want to support the work of other content creators. I can do this by up-voting their post. I can also do them a reblog or maybe an inspiring comment. There’s also a lot of Hive Projects that’s worthy of support. I can do them a write-up or delegate them power to support their work. For all this, I needed more power.

The Challenge: 1,000 Hive Power in 6 Months

My current goal for the main time is accumulate at least 1,000 Hive Power within 6 months. I based this goal on my current HP and current average rewards I am receiving from the community. As things are now, the max HP that I can accumulate within 6 months is around 500 HP. I decided on 1,000 HP as something that is challenging but is not impossible. It is something that will encourage me to improve.

English is not my first language and I am more of an introvert person so this is a real challenge.

My Strategy – How will I do it?

I can simply reach my goal just by buying a bunch of Hive coins and use it to power up. But I will not do that. Doing so will defeat the purpose of a quest or a challenge. Besides, I don’t have that amount sitting in my pocket.

1. Quality Content worthy of your Up-votes.

This is a quest that I alone cannot complete on my own. I will be needing your support. I will be doing my best in creating quality contents that are worthy of your precious up-votes.

2. 100 Percent Hive Power:

To achieve my goal, I will be staking 100 percent of my rewards, for Hive Power, that I will be receiving from blogging.

I can write about anything that I have a knowledge off or interested in. My interest include but are not limited to Video Games, Martial Arts (Fitness and Sports), Trading/Investing and DYI.

I will definitely write about Splinterlands since I’m into it.

I’m also currently sharpening my 3D modeling skills so expect to see a piece of my work in the future.

Nice work! I really like the idea of this challenge and wish you good luck with it! It is definitely worth it to try to create amazing content and receive some appreciation in form of upvotes, reblogs, comments, tips and so on...
I hope that you will be successful on your journey, but even if you don't reach that goal, I am pretty sure, that you will learn a lot on the way, make some good contacts and earn a lot of HivePower!

Do you plan on getting those 1,000 HP only as author rewards or also including curation rewards?

I will be getting most of HP from author rewards. I will also add in my Hive curation rewards but it will make little difference as of the moment as I have low HP. :)

Nice post!
I am new to Hive and your post gave me a sense of direction. This is the first time in my life I am ever interested in the concept of content creation so posts like this are super insightful.

My background is also in trading, 5 years as a retail and 3 years in a bank.
