Things never stop changing

Hello Hivians and Hello Silver Bloggers!

Are you ready for Winter?

Being a project manager one of the most important things to control is change. Let that get out of control and you can kiss your budget and schedule goodbye!

But it seems change is rife and rampant all over the fluffing place.

It used to be called global warming, but now it is called climate change. To be honest it is a much more appropriate name as whilst some places are experiencing warmer climes, ours are just balmy.

image.png

Waking up to 1 degree Celcius temperatures in the beginning of October or alleged Autumn seems absurd. Now I hear snow is zipping its way next week.

By the way for some of you lucky readers living in warmer climes, that is frost on the car. Yes ice that needs removed that is how cold our Autumn is!

Ah well, we have wreaked havoc on our planet and don't seem to able to change our behaviour.

image.png

Saturday afternoon after Storm Babat heaped rain and winds everywhere on the East coast of Scotland. We were lucky though, it seemed it was further up the coast past Dundee. I know Brechin was devastated and they had upgraded their flood defences in 2016. Seven years later and the rains and floods from the river have caused havoc and misery.

But that picture is typical Scottish weather, look at the sky, rain, sun, white sky, grey sky it has no clue what to be.

The old adage if you don't like the weather then wait five minutes and it will change is even more true these days!

image.png

That was on the way to get the glasses for Mrs T. Just look at the seas. Those waves, I must admit having lived beside the sea in many countries around the world, I just love waves crashing to shore.

The power of the sea, the power of nature, I love it!

Although you won't catch me surfing in it, I used to know many surfers up in the North of Scotland and mad was a word I would describe them with.

But change happens when the seas get angry.

All sorts of things get deposited on the beach.

image.png

Not just sea glass but pottery shards too, they're pretty aren't they?

We can make all sorts with them and have jars full of white and green, red and blue pieces of sea glasses. It is so cool how smooth nature has made the glass over the years.

More change!

So we got the glasses for Mrs T and guess what ...

image.png

The opticians SpecSavers had had a refit. Yes they changed the layout of the shop, they seemed to get rid of the audiology side of things. The aisles had opened up and it was more roomy!

Changes they are every fluffing where!

So I shall finish with one last change .... This time a good one!

image.png

Do you see that above?

Essentially our Silver Bloggers community are moving into 2023!

We are testing our delegation rewards woohoo!#

A post is coming but we appreciate everyone who is delegating to Silver Bloggers!

In the meantime havea great week and see you soon!

Changes are happening way too fast, the weather seems to have changed almost overnight everywhere around the world. Back at home in our province, there's been torrential and damaging rain. Here it went from warm to icy almost overnight, just like you're experiencing.
I just love the fact that we've started rewarding 'Mother's' delegators, even though we're still testing the waters for now.
Take care and keep warm Ed🤗

Yeah rewarding the delegators is a fantastic idea Lizzie.

Winter? I want to experience that but I'm not sure if I want to live woth "it" as I see a lot of cases of winter series funny video somewhere where they are all having a hard time just getting to their work or home because of how slippery the road was because of snow. I feel like thats just too extreme but I want to experience winter, either way, lol.

And really, everything is changing now. Some was a change for good but theres also those a change for the worse, this is the hardest kyahh.

hehe I think you should experience a real winter for a week ruffa!

We don't really get that, with feet upon feet of snow, not sure I could ever cope with that lol!

The weather here in our province is awesomely fine, and I will be able to see the clouds up in the sky later. Gonna back to work soon 🥲
Those waves look terrifying though...as if there is a big surge...
I'll be experiencing a change in temperature later.. Hopefully, HK won't be that cold when I come back because I didn't pack a thicker jacket, lol.

Have a nice day out there...

Yea the waves have calmed down compared to what they were. Next storm I am going to brave it and take my camera and see if I can snap some pics of the crazy rough sea!

Ah back to HK, safe travels back Jane.

The pottery shards looks pretty especially the third brownish one.

I will say I am lucky to live here, we don't experience snows here.

Nice report, glad you helped Mrs T to get her glasses.

Adapting to change which is inevitable is very important.
Your description of the Scotland sky is very interesting and apt, that is the third photo. The weather temp here can be warm, sometimes even uncomfortably hot. Grab your sweater and coat, mantel, you are good. Best wishes.

Never heard of this before. Now that I have, will try to practice it.

The art of dancing with change is to be clear about what is essential to us and maintaining that in the midst of transition, and let go of what is unnecessary or holding us back.

'Global warming' and 'climate change' are part of an engineered and concocted crisis to get people to accept global tyrannical control, all in the name of 'saving the planet'. It has nothing to do with saving the planet. It's part of agenda 2030. On the topic, climate is always changing. It never stops. Also, the sun, which controls everything in the solar system, is going though notable changes, which is heating up most of the planets. No conversation on 'climate change' would be complete without the acknowledgment and the taking into account the intense use of weather modification/warfare technologies, to the point now that it's hard say if any weather is actually natural.

That Scottish adage is one used here, too. Wait five minutes and the weather will change. Sun, rain, sun, all in ten minutes...😂

Congratulations on getting delegation rewards up and running on Silver Bloggers! Excellent! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

This actually got me laughing. Well change they say is constant and I think it's best to find a way to adapt to any change that comes out way.

Our activities have brought so much havoc to the planet earth. Sometimes the changes we experience as a result appear to be severe too.

It is true, change is inevitable but not always good!

The splashing of sea water against barriers at the sea and the cool sea breeze that permeates the environment makes being around a sea a fun thing. Too bad too that our climate has changed over the years and we are experiencing the negative sides of the changes.

Yes sea crashing against barriers I find very cool, well anything to do with the sea I have always found cool!

Yes we are shooting ourselves in the feet!

Changes in the weather are worldwide. Here what happens is that the heat continues. The temperatures this year in Caracas have been crazy, I have never been so hot here and at this time it should have started to cool down, but nothing and it rains almost every afternoon.
Those pottery shards are pretty, Super Ed. They could be used to make a necklace.

Yeah the shards are pretty Super Eli as is the sea glass that we collect.

It is addictive being out on the beach looking for stuff...

How are you?

Weather changes historically over eons of time, little more thrust and gusto of late, upside down some may say.

Snow this weekend predicted here inland, on the mountain tops three hour drive from where our coastal village is situated, cold weather weekend which I cherish, no complaints.

Mother nature will do her own thing, does not require nor get permission from a wee lass steering the world into stupidity.

Go Silver's with growing and thanks for you ongoing support everywhere!

The frost on the car, really? Here the only thing that screams autumn is the falling leaves and some trees changing the colour. Still warm enough for sunbathing. I was on the beach today, just walking, but people were swiming in the see. The temperature - around 28°C.
