Hello Hello Silver Bloggers and all you awesome Hivians!

Have you had a relaxing weekend?

I did, Mrs T and I went away for a few days up the coast. Now we just need a holiday to recover from the holiday.

I also think I wore a pair of shoes out, walk walk and walk some more was our motto we found out today!

I call these three dancing ladies, prize if you know where they are?

We spent a few hours on Saturday wandering round where they are dancing in the water...

Stick a Fork In me I'm done this refers to the amount of food we have eaten in the last few days.

Normally I book an AirBnb and will eat out and eat in in equal measures...

This time though, it was a hotel that I booked which came with breakfast included!

The breakfast was pretty damn good actually.

If fruits and oats and cereals and all the healthy stuff didn't tickle your fancy you could always plump for some hot stuff.

Those croissants were fluffing delicious, this was one of the best hotel breakfast selections I have had in years.

So at lunch I was craving a salad, and this bowl did the trick! We went to Nando's. I often use their hot sauces, so thought would be fun to eat in one of their "restaurants". I really am not a chain restaurant person and wish I had listened to my inner self. However the salad did the trick as well as a couple of glasses of coke.

Today is Sunday and being a Sunday we did follow the penguins as they came out of church!

Locals call it the Penguin Parade!

They did have a story to tell, especially the fourth penguin🤣

That will be a story for another day...

They are three naked trees...?

You know, a complimentary breakfast is such a nice feature. I used to need to travel weekly to the same destination and would stay at the same hotel every week; the staff and the folks serving breakfast knew me by face, and getting that free breakfast always made the morning just that much nicer.

Yes it is, I actually booked this hotel because the breakfast was complimentary and not charged at £16 per person per breakfast!
I have done similar to you in the past and it does set the morning off that much nicer!

There's nothing like a good complimentary breakfast when traveling. Sounds like you had them in that hotel. And whatever happened to the fourth penguin looking like the weight of the world has dumped on its shoulders😁

Haha yes that poor fourth penguin exactly as you described!

The holiday was great and yesterday the shower broke haha so now waiting for a new shower to be installed, talk about back with a bang!

my weekend has been more about work, this might be the year when i finally break through my financial situation, glad you are spending time with Mrs. T and rest, the salad look great, thx for sharing ✌️

Yes never knew they were a South African/Portguese creation. I have used their periperi hot sauces for years.
