My Dislikes That Can Reform Our Society

dislikes.jpg

Greetings my dear Hive fellows. I will write about some of my dislikes as an entry to the ‘Weekly Featured Content [W119-E01]’ for the first time. I am going to mention some of my dislikes regarding the society where I grew up and I think those are the main reasons behind our lagging in the world stage as a nation that we need to rethink and make a change for the sake of our prosperity.

Deception or difference in speech and actions
The first thing that I hate most is telling lies everywhere, not exactly; but a kind of deception in speech and breaking promises from the micro level to the very macro level. We live in a society where we have made it a culture and nowadays we are evaluating our every action taking the false perception. When we are going to meet someone, we say we are on the road while we are waiting for the life to get down from the life, we say we need 2 minutes to be ready when you are just going to your washroom to be ready. I know these are very silly things on the micro level, but these are the parts and parcels that create the macro level of deception in society in the long run.

What makes our character is our habits and so building good habits is very important. So, in such a deceitful society, we see all the politicians, all the law enforcement people, all the service providers, and even most of us are very used to this kind of deception in our professional life also without realizing the consequences in the long run. The politicians always give us thousands of promises every year but we know these all are fake but we don’t have any feelings about it or claim any explanation from the authorities. The service providers are creating trouble by wasting our precious time just by delaying their parts for any kind of query or fixing some issues of the people. Often these ignorances bring some tragedies in the form of accidents on the road, in the apartments because of unverified vehicles with unskilled drivers, unplanned buildings without fire safety, and so on.

So, the importance of your speech should be to the point and you should do what you mean to do. Even in world politics, we see such hypocrisy due to their national goals by making other nation to suffer. People are really disappointed with these shits and they started doing such things which are not good for society or for the nation. We can see it everywhere, especially in my country, people are trying to gather as much as asset possible by doing harm to the nation, even they are ready to sell their nation for the sake of their personal gain. Such an event has happened in our country, two policemen have sold a lot of personal information of our people to a foreign company! This happens because our moral position has been changed from the very beginning of our life as we see these deceptions everywhere and every day surrounding us. And we always learn from these that make our habits in such a way that we can not think in a straight way, but distrust everybody and try to focus on personal gain by destroying social harmony.

Nepotism is the poison for third-world countries
The second thing I hate is nepotism which is a kind of action to support someone unethically or blindly. Do you believe me or not 100% of us are doing nepotism in any form that we are not aware of that? But it is really a burden for a society from where I belong to. Even our country has supreme political leaders who have ruled us or are capable of ruling the country are from only two family. We all do that from the canteen line to help friends get food faster to the bank or any office to any service center, we find some known people to get some extra benefits which is the lowest level of nepotism.

But nepotism on a greater level is so significant as it paves the way to bypass the most competent people and appoint the worst one for many important posts that can shape a nation. Not only in politics but also almost in every sector you can find it. All you need to be a relative of higher authority to get a job in the best position by exploiting some amazing competitor for that post. Also, the nepotism in law enforcement in third-world countries is severe, you can see it in the Indian cinemas how the policemen are directly associated with the crimes. This is the dirty reality in most of the nations with lower levels of living standards.

Going forward further, we have a quota system to undermine the real talents where some job categories have up to 90% quota! Can you believe that? Even the most prestigious and the most important people to run the country in the civil services, 56% posts are filled with quota and it really deprieve of talented people to make the country a prosperous one. And the under-qualified people are prone to do more corruption and the good ones are forced to be a part of it as a whole organization. That’s why I hate the nepotism in any sphere of the society.

Dehumanization
The third thing that I hate most is dehumanization which is a crime in my sense. It is so bad that you can’t tolerate the consequences of it. From my early childhood, I learned teaching from the famous Chinese philosopher, ‘Confucius’ and one of his teachings touched my heart- ‘What you don’t like for yourself, then don’t do it to others’. There are many similar feelings and teachings from most of our social ethics or religious thought but often people make the mistake of uttering dehumanization phrases to spread hatred for other nations.

When a person is affected by the dehumanizing thought, that person can do anything to harm the opponent as he starts thinking of other people as creatures rather than a human. There are many examples of such events in world history when the dehumanizing phrases stimulated some of the most shameful events that the world has ever seen. So, as a human being, I hate any terms or feelings regarding dehumanization on the basis of color, race, religion, rich or poor, occupation, or anything.

The post going longer, so I am ending here for today, I hope you like my article and if you have any queries or thoughts please let us know in the comments. Thank you very much for your time and attention.
Have a great day!

assalam allailkum @tanzil2024 !

I think your arguments are very important, sensitive and dangerous!

I agree with most of your arguments. However, it is not easy to answer in my awkward English!

Dear my bro Hassan!
I hope your happy and health!

In this world, everything is being talked about and discussed but the tolerance level of all the authorities around the world is not the same! Everything is not accurate, these are just my personal thoughts, there must be the opposite arguments on each point. Take care of your health too.

Nepotism is one thing we're really suffering from in this part of the world and it's keeping us from growing at the rate that we should. People get jobs and offices they're not equipped for while those who are equipped have to be jobless. It's cruel.

Don't say about it, we are just grasped by it completely; no one knows how to overcome the situation. And it is very difficult when a separate group has control over almost everything and that triggers the corruption so badly in the system. Hope the situation will change gradually in the coming days. Thanks for stopping by!
