Beautiful Arts on the Streets

It's been raining really hard today, specially in the northern part of the Philippines. And because of the heavy rains some offices suspended work.

This morning while I'm going to work, it's my first time seeing the mural painting near my workplace. The street was always full of vehicles so I was not able to see it at full view.

This murals is part of the road beautification project of the government, it sure looks more beautiful compared to just seeing small weeds growing from the concrete.

I love this long mural that shows the culture of the Cordillera people called Igorots. This shows some of our culture like the playing of Gongs and also the native attire of the native people here in the Cordilleras.

I would say the the Cordilleras have a very rich culture that were preserve from the original settlers since this place is not fully colonized during the wars that passed.

In the other side is a picture of the different workforce representation. This place where this murals are located is where the provincial capitol is located , so I think it just fits to place a mural with this theme here.

There are more of this art in other parts of the road where a large area that can be used as canvass is located. I'm hoping to show them to you in my next blogs.

And I hope you liked what I shared today.
Be safe everyone , have a good day and see you in the next one!
