A visit to London to eat cheese, do life get better than this?

Introduction

We recently went to London for a few days to do a few things and have a laugh. London is an awesome place and is always good fun when we go there, if not expensive! I thought I would write a bit about it. The first thing we did when we arrived to London is to eat cheese. This is the main reason we went there!

Cheese

Covent Garden has not changed much, we used to spend a lot of time here when we lived in London and it is always a vibrant place and well worth a visit if you are in London and have not been, The shops and market are well worth the visit and there is often lots of street entertainment as well.

However we were here for one reason and one reason only this time and that was to go to the Cheese bar!

It is located in a big food hall where there were lots of other tasty treats on offer! It was a very cool place with a good atmosphere and some cool music as well!

Now this cheese bar is set up a bit like a Yo Sushi if you have been to one of them, lots of little plates of cheese with something extra like pickles that compliment the cheese. what is nice is that all the chesses and stuff are all British made.

There are a lot of different plates of food whizzing past you and it is hard not to want to try them all!

This was the first plate we tried which was a Lincolnshire red with some chillies, it was delicious I have to say, although the chillies were quite hot!

Now this was a cheeky little number as it was a sweet thing. the couple next to us suggested it to us. It is a sweet donut with a mild goats cheese and apricot jam in, I have to say it was delicious!

Looking at it now I would definitely be going back!

There were 26 different plates all in all and here is an example of some of the menu, you can see the ones we have tried by the ticks, you can also see we went in a second time to the Brie!

So we had a great time and it was definitely an experience! It was easy to eat lots of cheese and also spend a few quid! Ok so we might have had a few glasses of wine as wine and cheese is a very good thing. So we spent about £50 on the cheese.

Review

If you like eating and cheese then this is a great place. Not only was it delicious the whole experience was fun. This was not like going to a restaurant this was something you could really engage with. It was a real laugh and even 12 year old mini SUB enjoyed himself. I would definitely recommend this to anyone going to London and would make this a destination place for lunch or dinner, you must book a seat though! Over all we were thoroughly cheesed after this experience and did not eat any more cheese for at least 12 hours....
