ATTENTION, I HAVE CHANGED THE CONDITIONS!

Today is the happy 18th week of my initiative.

Everyone has gone crazy this week with the AI discussion, but for me people are more important than soulless algorithms and their art. No, no, I use AI myself to create the occasional cover for my post. And it does cut down on my time sometimes, and I really like the bottom line I get in 5–10 minutes. But only a person will make me something unique and understand me. For the money. Which is what I'm going to pay in the future. To a person. Who will understand me as intimately and as deeply as I do. Even more.

Right now, that only happens here at Hive. That is, all of YOU!

And I, in turn, hear all of you and see all that time allows me.

The post that cracked me up the most this week was @acidyo's Can we talk giveaway posts for a bit? I don't mention people that often, hope he forgives me. Especially this time, this is my thanks to him and totally on point.

I had exactly the same thoughts. That's why I created a gratitude giveaway, in which I try to give back. And not just material or monetary units. I try to be helpful with what I have. And that is energy, thoughts, words of kindness and my sincere love for the Hivians who come into contact with me. I hope I'm succeeding at it.

So, I am changing some of the terms of the giveaway, which may affect the dynamic, but not my appreciation and love for you.

First, I will only be posting on We Are Alive Tribe. Because it's really important to me to be alive myself and to see live people. And they are here! And a lot of them.

Second, I'm going to stop mentioning past participants. We are a family, and a family doesn't need to remember their family members' birthdays. It's stamped on the skin with blood, isn't it? It will allow you to give exactly to those who are really here, and who are really alive. And I know you are alive!

Third, the giveaway thread will not be ignored. You've already done that to many people all along. In fact, I was even surprised at how sensitive some of you have been about it. I've learned so much in these 17 weeks that I couldn't have without your thoughtful comments. I am definitely growing with you. I hope I'm giving so much that you're growing with me, too. And it's not about material things again!

The theme of today's giveaway is love! What could be more alive and larger than life? What could be less explicable?

But that is the only thing that moves and will move this world and me.

In the beginning, there is only that. And at the end, only this will be remembered if you are human. If you are alive...

What do you remember when you hear the word love?

Right now, I feel it in every moment. This is the music to which I am writing this post. My parents, who are still alive. Hive and my Hive siblings. All my ladies I've met along the way. Even the outside world, which is so ambiguous right now. But that moment will never happen again. It is what I love to the core!

This moment is priceless, whatever it may be.

Life and love go hand in hand if I walk this path with love. And I do!

I will, as always, end my thoughts at the end of this post. Now to business!

Goal

As I wrote in the first post Giveaway of Gratitude. 5 HSBI. CLOSED!, I give every day and want to take it to Hive! The purpose of this next giveaway is to give back to Hive and its members my share of appreciation and love! This is a gratuitous giveaway. That is, if the payout for this post is 5.01 Hive, I will give away 6 HSBI! The only thing I get is your love and part of the Hive SBI (that's how HSBI works).

What is HSBI

HSBI is a social experiment that has grown into something bigger. I have read many posts and other information about it. In my opinion, it is worthy of both Hive and this world in general! If you don't already know what HSBI (Hive SBI) is, read this post: Hive SBI

Why am I leaning specifically toward HSBI? Because this value that I give away also stays at Hive. It also shows my love for this blockchain and everyone involved!

Conclusion

Just the love for Hive and what I do made me stay here no matter what. We Are Alive Tribe and loving it when I didn't even realize it gave what I was looking for here. Heck, we are alive every day and we don't even realize it. Every moment counts! And love is everywhere no matter what!

What do I remember when I hear that word "love"? For me, love separates humanity from beasts. Being able to show love defines who we are. I have seen the most despicable of people break down when they remember that people love them regardless of their actions. The power of love, pure heavenly love, overcomes all other emotions and leads us to a different place. Love binds us in a stronger and more powerful way than any hate could ever do. So, during these days of deep troubles around the world, consider love; let not the actions of a few rotten beastly people define the whole nation they represent.

Speaking of love, I do appreciate lots of different posts here which attract my interest on HIVE. I don't have a problem with giveaway threads or AI threads too (since we're on this seems to be the flavour of the week here in HIVE with all those related posts).

Giveaway threads share some "love" in a way by distributing stuff around. Same goes for a lovingly crafted AI picture or post. I'm VERY sure it takes a lot of effort to fine tune all the different parameters into crafting that perfect AI picture. I've seen lots of people spend hours just entering different phrases to shape their desired eventual artwork.

SO... with all that being said, I do think all that heavy handed approach by Hivewatchers is overbearing though. When I first came across HIVE, I was under the impression that the entire system was set up to be self governing. A low quality worthless post will naturally not get upvotes, or less over time as it becomes repetitive and stale (with regards to copy/paste daily giveaways).

That being the case, why is all the resources wasted chasing after this. All the fear about spam seems unfounded. There's a crap ton of spam on youtube and other social media. They all fade away as people ignore them and the algorithm pushes the popular trending ones to the top.

The same goes for HIVE here. Do we not want growth? Some spam is an inadvertent side effect. Why do we need a self appointed gatekeeper to decide what makes a quality post or not? Communities can self govern and humans have enough common sense to decide what deserves an upvote or not.

I think I'm ranting quite a bit, but the point of it is, if a person wants to show some love via upvotes to another person, who are we do deny it?

You are right on target with the natural development and cleansing over time. We may need inspectors, but not those who fine two-cent posts). I'm exaggerating, of course, but in general it's true.

I dont know much about love, but if I will answer the question above I have some thoughts on mind.

When I hear the word love it reminds me of my friends, family, and of course my crush. I remember our bond to each other which makes us close to each other. And for me love is not just about your love with your lover but it is a bond that you have with the people around you....

Regarding the topic under discussion it is intense, deep and of diverse interpretations. Love as a term is polysemic and will have as many meanings as people propose it. On the other hand, it will depend on the scenario where it is presented, as they say, it will depend on the glass through which it is seen.
For me it has innumerable representations, it can be energy flowing in your body, a help given to someone, a representation of solidarity, the expression of a sincere feeling, loving and valuing oneself from the inner look (selfhood), or on the contrary valuing and giving space to others (otherness). By this I mean that no one is the absolute owner of the truth, so any definition or interpretation we give will claim its legitimacy and is totally valid.

I agree with you, that we transit, live and walk, together with love; otherwise our existential journey will be impossible 🙌✨

I am glad that we coincide in our philosophical appreciations and it is very true, because the truth is not totally objective, although we are impressed that it is so; there will always be the conception from the eye and the feeling of the one who interprets it, carrying with him the experiences of that person.

Love - I don't remember a particular event or person, because love is such a huge concept. I love my husband, and some of my friends, spicy food and reading. I have loved other people and things, and I'm sure what and whom I love will change in the future too. I could say I love taking hot baths, or cooking, and this author or that. But I don't really, I "only" enjoy or like them. Only? What's so only about that?
