Exactly one year with the Hive PUD! February 2023

Intro

Hey, Hivians!

Happy HPUD, everyone, guys! YaY! Cheers! 🥂

As you might have realized from the title of this post, today is the one-year anniversary of the first time I made my HPUD. So before I begin, I want to remember what it was like!

Gosh, a year ago! This is the point at which I started my activity here in full force, slowly gaining momentum with each passing month. I was setting monthly goals for HP and then second layer Hive tokens. I met those goals, sometimes failing. But I never gave up...

Then I started participating in Hive PUM as well. This motivated me to start writing and posting more than usual. So I switched to 1 post a day when I didn't miss due to illness or lack of time. It all paid off, and my snowball gradually grew, gaining knowledge, friends and HP. All of this was a year ago when I started with about 100 HP. I now have 1350 HP, which I've gained from publishing, curating, and interacting with the community. And if anyone has any doubts about the possibility of growing from zero to infinity in a year on Hive, send them to this post. 🤪

And it all started with just one small step. And that was the first HPUD.

I'd also like to say that there are Hivians who have progressed much further than I have in a year. So it's all up to us and our desire to be inside Hive. Hive is really home. It's up to us alone how quickly we build on that spot and what! It can also be a huge castle, if you want...

My main goal for this month will be 1500 HP. So today I'm making my first contribution to that by Power Up 10 Hive. And below is a screenshot of this year's accomplishments according to hivebuzz.me

In all my time on Hive, I've written 659 posts and made 8,075 comments. My current rating is 2,418,949. Another month was very active.

Hive Power

In one month, my HP went from 1188 to 1339, which was + 12%. As you can see from the graph, most of the HP I earned from posts, as I said. The rest of it is the daily power up to do the PUM.

If you use ecency.com, you can see your rating and your activity here: ecency.com/discover. According to this ranking for the last 30 days, I'm ranked 17th. Wow! I went up one more notch this month. I did a great job this time, but I think I can do even better!

Monthly goals

As I mentioned before, my main goal for February will be 1500 HP. I hope I can get to 5,000 HP before the next bull market. And 10,000 by the end of the year. These are ambitious goals, but they alone make me move even faster and create even harder in this bear market!

Conclusion

Big things start with small steps. You never know where a new endeavor might lead. Could I have thought a year ago that participating in HPUD would give me the push that would bring me here? Nop. I just decided to give it a try. One time. And here I am a year later and happy.

It only takes one small step.
